2023-11-19 07:30:52 +0000 UTCThere's this really weird thing the Bleach anime does where they draw out certain scenes excruciatingly long so they can let the OST track play in-full. You can see it clearly in Episode 195 when Ichigo is crawling on the ground after he got his ass beat by Tesla - they cut back and forth between Ichigo crawling and Orihime saying "Kurosaki-Kun" like 100 times until the song plays out. There obviously wasn't a full chapter's worth of Orihime just shouting Kurosaki-kun in the manga, andit makes the pacing of the scene incredibly awkward. Going back through this arc (and a lot of the earlier scenes too) it happens surprisingly often, especially to pad a scene to make sure it stretches out to the midcard / end of the episode.
