2024-09-02 19:58:39 +0000 UTCGreat movie! Quick tale: when I was married, my wife worked for a veterinarian. And the trainer for Hooch would *only* trust this vet. This guy also trained the dog(s) for "Down and Out in Beverly Hills", which were Border Collies. When I mentioned I'd like a BC, wifens said this trainer had pups. We drove down and picked out a pup. Got our picture taken with "Mike the Dog". Hooch was there, but we didn't get to meet him. I love this movie, but always get a bit of extra joy out of knowing the trainer. He had strict rules on the treatment of his dogs; almost walked off of this movie but they caved to him. Good guy, great dogs.
