2024-08-31 22:43:45 +0000 UTCI had never seen this one. I always heard it was bad so I skipped it. But I actually thought it was pretty fun. I liked seeing all the comedy people in the cast. Patton Oswalt, Parker Posey, John Michael Higgins. And it makes sense that they finally brought in Dracula since Blade originated in Dracula comics. (Also, I'll be amazed if Ashleigh hasn't had a certain spoiler already spoiled for her. Can't hardly look at the internet without it being spoiled. It's a shame she's so far behind in the MCU.)

They had a plexiglass shield in front of the camera with a hole just big enough for the lens. She was told to aim at the camera and loose an arrow (arrows are loosed, not shot!). She hit the camera lens through the hole.

While Ryan Reynolds was playing this role, a crew member came up to him and said, "You're playing this role a lot like Deadpool." Ryan said, "Who's Deadpool?" And that's what got him into reading the comics, and he dedicated himself to playing the role whenever it came up. Truthfully, I can't see anyone else playing Deadpool to the extreme as I can't see anyone else than Huge Jackman playing Wolverine. They are just so perfectly cast.

It's an ongoing series with a constant stream of coverage. Spoilers kind of defeat the purpose of a reaction channel. Just some thoughts.

2024-08-29 19:33:02 +0000 UTCI know I'm in a vanishingly small minority, but Blade Trinity is actually my favorite of the 3. The first one is great, don't get me wrong, but I hated the 2nd one. It was too much for me! Haven't watched anything other than YouTube reaction edits of it since I saw it in the theater. But the third one is so my speed. Which is probably also the reason why it gets so much hate from the hardcore Blade fans. Too much humor, too much Ryan Reynolds, not enough Blade being all stoic and badass. I'm about to hit play on the watchalong, and I'm really looking forward to it!
