I could never get into this film, but I was interested in what you thought about it, so I listened to your thoughts at the end. I'm glad you enjoyed, and I had a feeling you would. Ashleigh, I would love to be your friend outside of the universe. That sounds like fun. LMAO

Raven Dark

Agreed.

Raven Dark

Haha, Ashleigh has isms. She's made it. :D

This seems as good a place as any to suggest a couple of films. The first is "Mannequin" from 1987, one of my all-time favorite movies featuring one of my all-time favorite characters, and then there's my husband's favorite movie of all time... "Gremlins 2: The New Batch." I am not kidding. We have high-quality Gremlins 2 action figures decorating our home.

Michael Mammano-Cheydleur

Well, since you mentioned Hallobeans (only 2½ months away), I'd like to offer my 2¢ of Hallobeans movies: - Audition/Odishun (1999) ✓ - The Birds (1963) ✓ - The Cabin in the Woods ✓ - Dead Alive / Braindead (1992)✓ - The Descent (2005) ✓ - Drag Me to Hell ✓ - Frailty (2002) ✓ - Fright Night (1985) ✓ - Get Out (2017) ✓ - The Howling ✓ - Martyrs (2008) ✓ - The Mist (2007) ✓ - A Quiet Place ✓ - Re-animator ✓ - Rec (2007) ✓ - The Strangers (2008) ✓ - Train to Busan ✓ - The Vanishing (1988) ✓ - The Witch (2015) ✓ I'm not sure if you're doing Wednesday movies, but if you are: The Frighteners, They Live, What We Do in the Shadows, Zombieland

Wally

Absolutely 💯

Michael Parker

I think Ashleigh would really enjoy Mannequin.

Lynette Cummins

So Excited for THIS! Go watch the sequel and THEN go watch what is arguably one of the GOAT films of the 80s MANNEQUIN with Andrew McCarthy (Weekend At Bernie's, Pretty in Pink) Kim Cattrall (Sex in the City, Police Academy, Porky's, Big Trouble in Little China), James Spader (Pretty in Pink), and Estelle Getty (Golden Girls)!!!

Michael Parker

I’m from Georgia, and as far as I’m aware.. that’s an Ashley-ism

StarryEyes

I've always wondered if "diddle-dallying" was just a regional variation on "dilly-dallying" 😂

JC

I love how you have made the word Dillydallying into your own word of DiddleDallying

StarryEyes

You should watch the second one, it's where the "Bernie dance" really came from. And the premise has a funny twist in it.

Please skip part 2

Terry Kaiser The man who plays Bernie has an extensive filmography in TV and Movies. So he does some great acting with hardly any dialog and the exercusion of the gags and making a premise work that really would be hard in other hands to do. It's a great movie to show how to correctly do slapstick and direct greatly to comical effect. They had some real pros working on this movie. I thought Bernie was played by Burt Reynolds when I first seen this in theaters as he looks like Burt Reynolds here. P.S. that blue jacket Bernie wears is a members only jacket. They were a hot trend on the 80s

Mr Marvelous

Cute show with some funny parts. I agree with Ashleigh about the sequel. I haven't seen it, but I think one movie is good enough.

Lynette Cummins

flagged for showing a dead body? the actor who played Bernie is literally still alive. though... one day he will die, and the internet is gonna make so many jokes :(

Michael Tocci

NOW You can "Do the Bernie!" and know WHY!!!

James Falato

when you said that "Larry" looks familiar but you can't place him, his name is Andrew McCarthy and you have seen him in Pretty in Pink as Blane

Ricky P Kraus

limited suitability for "showing a dead body" - LOL
