You have to remember that this Loki removed himself from the timeline before the death of his mother, father, and himself. He has no idea it happened. Thats why it hit him so emotionally. the filmstrip said "end of file" because it was the end of his life. Loki was not reversing time to the hallway, he just moved himself in time to a different place. The Infinity Stones are useless outside of their own timeline. So in the TVA, they are just colored rocks.
