FYI: If you haven't looked it up yet, Here's the story on Freddo from Google:
Fred Haise, the lunar module pilot on Apollo 13, became ill during the mission. He developed a urinary tract infection and later a kidney infection, causing him pain throughout the flight, according to Wikipedia and Space.com. This illness was partly due to the restricted water supply and cold temperatures, and it impacted his ability to participate in the planned lunar surface activities.

Smartest people on the planet....engineering the shit out everything to get them back home...I just wish we hadn't stopped going to the moon over 50 years ago.

Every single person involved in bringing Apollo 13 home was the steeliest of steely-eyed missile men. One of the greatest episodes in human history of pure fortitude and ingenuity in the face of overwhelming odds.

And from an Alternate History perspective, For All Mankind TV show would be a good watch.
