I really wish you would watch “12 Monkey” the series after Firefly. It’s the 2nd best sci-fi series after Firefly. It actually has a beginning, middle & end that won’t leave you pissed off.

2024-03-03 23:40:52 +0000 UTCYou've already seen it but I think you (more than many reactors) will more deeply appreciate one of the big character foundations in the series...and I like to point it out to folks who haven't noticed. In the first episode, while fighting the war, Malcolm prays and kisses the cross he wears around his neck; he's deeply religious. Later, he tells the preacher that saying grace is fine as long as it's not out loud. Critical Character Point - Mal is someone whose faith in God was traumatically destroyed. That fact informs a great deal of his actions and remains a running theme throughout the series and movie.
