We finally get the background on mostly everyone and how they came to be with Mal. One little story about the button is that when Firefly was cancelled, Alan Tudyk Got the button and gave it to Joss Whedon and told him that when he was ready to do the show again, all he had to do was call them back. Another bit of trivia is there is a wonderful part of this episode on the Firefly blooper reel. I don't want to spoil it for you so take a look.
