Hey, I know I'm a year late but i just watched this. . I wanted to tell you Battlestar was a last-minute name change in the comics. In the comics when the government gave the Captain America name to Walker, his friend Lamar was called "Bucky." The government's intention was to create the illusion that the same two who fought side by side when it was Rogers were still partners. . Then, a fan wrote in and complained that when assigned to a black man the term, "Bucky" was an insult. Marvel published that fan's letter with an apology to the black community and changed the name to Battlestar that issue. . Also, Lamar had a replica of Steve's original pre-vibranium shield. The one Steve had the war bond advertisement taped to the inside of in the first movie. I wish they'd have let Battlestar have it in this series.
