I think you may be onto something with that "petty Avengers" speculation, lol. :) And, yes. I despise John Walker too. The actor (Kurt Russell's son!) did a great job making me hate him. I love Sam's new Wakandan Captain America uniform. The tech gives him the edge he needs to be a superhero. Sam is noble, was born that way. :) RE the series & how people perceived it... there were some confusing moments. It's been a while, so I'm a little fuzzy, but I think they rewrote/reworked the series plot away from the Flag Smashers using a bio-weapon virus. COVID happened, and Marvel didn't want to tread on virus territory? Something like that. Anyway, I enjoyed your reaction! :)

2024-02-23 01:32:09 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you feel the same as me about John Walker. There were so many people who tried to justify the way his character acted when the show came out, and I hated him. I understand they probably wanted us to empathize with the pressure he was under, but nah.
