This Film was done with Actual Germans performing the German Headquarters/Officers/Soldiers and the French Resistance were played by French Actors so the dialogue/accents were authentic... Also, the Gliders/Parachuters really did Overshoot/Undershoot their landings, and the haphazard landings confused the German Troops into believing this couldn't be the Actual Attack...

2023-11-12 21:48:59 +0000 UTCThere were a lot of big stars in this picture and I kind of laugh when Ashleigh doesn't recognize someone she's seen before. I think this is the third or fourth film she saw Robert Mitchum in and didn't recognize him.
