"Hair" was an Anti-Vietnam War Play/Movie that was Loved by Anti-Vietnamers and Hated by Pro-Vietnamers... And What Is Lost Is The Fact That Many Vietnam Vets Became Anti-Vietnamers...

I'm very excited for you to watch "Citizen Kane." A bit of background you may find interesting, not a spoiler however. The main character, Charles Foster Kane, is a composite of several industrial giants, among them William Randolph Hearst, Harold Fowler McCormick, Samuel Insull, and Howard Hughes. Hearst in particular was so enraged by the idea of Orson Welles fictionalizing his life that he tried to keep the film from being released, without having even seen it. He succeeded in pressuring theater chains to limit showings of the film, greatly impacting box office receipts and impairing Welles's career prospects. As a result of Hearst's meddling, studios would never again give Welles the full control of his films that he had with "Kane."
