WATCH ALONG: X2

A few extra points: -Wolverine 2.0 is called Lady Deathstrike in the comics and she can also cybernetically send her conscious into other bodies. -When Mystique breaks into the computer system, if you look at the known mutants, there is a line labeled "Maximoff (2)" because Wanda and Pietro were previously considered mutants and Magneto's children. -When you asked about a connection between Wanda and Nightcrawler, in many alternate universe stories, they are in love and have a daughter who's ability is a combination of the two where she can teleport her consciousness into other people and basically pilot them/possess them. -Pyro was a member of Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants that rose in Magneto's absence. -Jason Stryker in the comics is Jason Wyngarde (Mastermind) and was a member of Magneto's first incarnation of the Brotherhood along with Toad (from the first movie), Wanda, and Pietro. He was also obsessively in love with Wanda as was Toad. He later left and joined the Hellfire club for a time. -The woman in the blue dress that drugged the guard is actually the same actress who plays Mystique, so pretty solid casting right there.

Beyond the other X-Men movies, (First Class is awesome!) Sadly, you should probably watch "Xmen: Origins Wolverine", and "The Wolverine" as well (not my favorites) , and of course "Logan", before starting the Deadpools. But do yourself a favor and SKIP "The New Mutants"! Terrible movie and has almost no relevance to the timeline/universe. ... Does anyone think Ashleigh needs to watch the laughable Green Lantern (DC universe) as well?...

I think the stereotype of the president drinking scotch/whiskey came from President Grant. During the civil war and his time in the White House, he was notorious for his constant drinking. Also, no one really knows why Mystique looks different and blue but a lot of mutants look different in the comics and tv show. The reason Nightcrawler looks so different though is because in the comics, he is Mystique's son.

The pills seem to just knock the guy out. That's when Mystique rolled him over and the metal in the syringe. When you said "butt stuff" LOL.

This is a better movie than the first X-Men. Great cast and acting. I've seen both Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart on Broadway, but in two different plays. Both had great acting.
