EARLY ACCESS: Look Who's Talking

Just watched the Look Who Talking episode, and while you should TOTALLY do Drop Dead Gorgeous, another great Kirstie Alley movie with Mark Harmon (of NCIS fame) is Summer School! A fun 80's comedy about a summer school teacher and his misunderstood students.

I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again, Drop Dead Gorgeous is the one you HAVE to watch! You’ll laugh til you cry and will literally be more entertained and at the edge of your seat for a lot of moments in it. Please don’t lose sight of this movie, it has to be on a poll or on your radar sometime soon. ✌🏼

Drop Dead Gorgeous is a great movie, but it's not a Kirstie Alley movie. It's a Kirsten Dunst movie with Kirstie Alley in it. Better selections would be "For Richer For Poorer," or "It Takes Two." Also, you saw John Travolta in "Pulp Fiction." It's possible you saw him in other things, but I know you saw him in "Pulp Fiction."

That's not it "not aging well." It's not Mickey Roony in Breakfast at Tiffany's. That didn't age well. In Saturday Night Fever, those guys were supposed to represent youth in a rough life, making bad decisions. Seems to be a truth being told in art. Holds up great today if you think about it. Just being uncomfortable to some people doesn't mean it's a problem with the movie. Sometimes it's just a problem with the audience.

Saturday Night Fever didn't age well. The main characters are all basically a-holes. There are a couple of scenes Ashleigh will have an issue with.

I'd actually only ever watched the sequels for the How Did This Get Made podcast, so despite knowing I was going to hate this it was nice to watch along with someone who is also averse to children lol

Secondhand Lions is an amazing film and if you are going to watch Pierce Brosnan then I would also suggest Dante's Peak. A very underrated disaster flick. Pierce could always get it for me and it also has another actress you are very fond of. :D They are great together.

I like her in For Richer Or Poorer more than this movie. I think Ashleigh would of enjoyed the movie Summer School, even though Kristie Alley plays a minor part in it.
