The annoying thing is that what you are doing is the _definition_ of "fair use". But I also know that challenging YouTube is not something to do without a full suite of lawyers at your beck and call. Still, that ain't right. (A lawyer friend calls this the "access to justice" problem. People with shallow pockets can't get their obviously valid claims adjudicated, which allows bad/illegal behavior to continue unchallenged.)
