FIRST HALLOBEANS POLL

Okay so Ingibingi is starting off Hallobeans early with that previous poll where the winner was "From Dusk Til Dawn."

So This poll will be for October 3rd and 7th!  SO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE TWO (Remember - Mondays and Fridays are SCARY movies done alone in the dark, filmed in night vision.). And close runners up will kept on future hallobeans polls.

For this first poll - These are movies that may have lost last year, that I've seen mentioned in comments, or just movies that I've heard of and want to see if you want me to watch them!

if any of these are not considered "watch alone in the dark" movies - please let me know. ๐Ÿ˜‚ because y'all know I'm just going off comments and how scary the title sounds right now. I'll post the first light hearted poll (uploaded publicly on Wednesdays ad filmed like normal) in a day or two AND I'll also have a sequels poll coming soon, too!

Comments

I want to apologize Ashleigh, in my post I said that "you picked this garbage" that was incorrect. One of your movie members picked it. Sorry about that.

Ashleigh's southern so what about Southern Gothics like 'Night of the Hunter'

David Simon

Oh, yeah. Ashleigh needs to see IT: Chapter 1.

Suggestions for future polls: It: Chapter 1 (Ashleighโ€™s reaction to the Tim Curry version was one of last yearโ€™s bests. She will like this too) The Conjuring (this will obviously scare the crap out of her and make a great reaction) Halloween 2 (for the sequel poll)

Scream is bad enough, then we have to watch Scream 2 through 27, because they're all so different /s

Richard Maurer

Dead Alive (aka Braindead): If we're going to pitch a Peter Jackson horror film, this is so much better than The Frighteners. Dead Alive is hilarious, scary, and extra super gory. And there's a sweet love story in there among the splatter. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2: It's scary, messy, and funny. For sequels week? The Mist: So scary, so gross, and also emotionally powerful.

Anybody know what time her livestreams usually start?

Tim Glaim

Exactly, Richard! I have spent entirely way too much time thinking about this but the problem seems to be that people who vote in her patreon polls are not necessarily horror fans /fanatics. I am a bona fide horror fanatic so when she creates a poll, people whose who rarely watch horror are deciding which movies to watch during Hallobean's. People who think that "Se7en" is a horror movie or the movie "Scream" is scary, that movie was straight COMEDY to someone like me. Unless Ashleigh takes the bull by the horns & starts picking movies herself we're never going to see anything worth watching & more of choices like the "Mummy" ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„ Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if there was more days in the month but as it stands last year she showed 14 movies during Hallobean's so every time she watches a turd ๐Ÿ’ฉ it's one less chance for us to see you an actual horror movie. In one of her unboxing she talked about how she wanted to do a 30 days of Hallobeans I would really like that don't know if it'll happen though.

Between the patreon members who don't seem to know what a horror film is and the lack luster poll choices made by the reactors, Halloween always tends to be a disappointment here on patreon. This year is no exception.

Richard Maurer

Judging by the brief list of Hallowbeans movie she listed in her "Dusk till Dawn" reaction, it's gonna be ANOTHER lack luster, milk toast Hallowbeans season. "Scream II" ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! Can't believe I waited an ENTIRE year for this. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„ With so many truly AMAZING horror movies out there she picks this garbage?! #BigTimeDisappointed

Also, I only voted for 1 since I didn't read the entire into. *must remember to read in future*

I voted Jeepers Creepers because despite one guys stupid-ness, the movie is a good one. Maybe some day.

The Frighteners seems more like a Wednesday movie to me. No need for night vision with that one.

Has anyone suggested the craft?

OneEyedMcGee

For the Wednesday, lighter Halloween movies: High Spirits (my absolute favorite), Teen Wolf, Monster Squad, Sleepy Hollow (1999), The Craft (1996), Practical Magic, Addams Family (1991), Casper, Ghostbusters 2, The Witches (1990), and My Best Friend is a Vampire.

Kelly Marie

Yeah, there are only 3 slots on the top tier (not sure why so few...I guess I should ask...lol)...and something tells me those won'r be vacated anytime soon.

CinWin

I voted on this poll, but still want to shout out to possibly feature "RETURN TO OZ". It may not be a scary movie (for adults anyway) but it is very much a creepy Halloween movie. Wanted to do the big tier for months now to have her watch this film (it's on Disney Plus) but the tier is always sold out! Haha.
