Shelly long was wonderful in Troop Beverly Hills. You should watch that!

Not surprising, Europe will always have us beat on food :) As for me, my fave will always be Justin Wilson because I lived in New Orleans for years.

Dale Hardy

One of the first in the US, certainly. Fanny Craddock in the UK preceded her by a decade. Child was a far nicer person though…Craddock destroyed her own TV career by managing to get the whole country to hate her.

I still crack up whenever I see that old SNL sketch with Dan Aykroyd playing her :)

Paul Johnson

Julia Child was possibly the first televised chef and the first to drink on tv.

If you are looking for a cool alternative superhero movie that has more theming in common with halloween....I'd recommend Darkman starring Liam Neeson!

Great reaction...I remember 1st seeing this movie in a bar I used to hang out in after work in the late 80's-early 90's...the bartender was a really nice lady who would play a movie on VHS at 4 o'clock every day...the movies that stand out in my memory are this one and "An Innocent Man" with Tom Selleck(which I also think you would like)

Was just watching the replay of yesterday's Unboxing Live and saw recommendations for Hallowbeans movies. I've loved Horror movies since I was a kid. I've seen great , good and ones that suck ⚾⚾. These are what I consider great horror movies: - 28 Days Later - Audition (1999) - The Birds (1963) - The Cabin in the Woods - Dead Alive / Braindead (1992) - The Descent (2005) - Drag Me to Hell - Evil Dead 2 (you don't vhave to watch #1) - Frailty (2002) - Fright Night (1985) - Get Out (2017) - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) - Martyrs (2008) - The Mist (2007) - The Omen - A Quiet Place - Re-animator - Rec (2007) .It was remade but this is the original.  - The Ring - Se7en - The Strangers (2008) - Train to Busan - Us (2019) - The Vanishing (1988) - The Witch (2015) For Wednesdays Polls - Arachnophobia - The Frighteners - They Live - What We Do in the Shadows - Zombieland

This is one of those films you can watch over and over again, because it's just funny and great for cheering yourself up.

This movie is a favorite of mine. What a crazy group of characters. Love Tom Hanks in this one. I just watched your live stream, but I was watching on my TV so I wasn't in the chat. You getting the 1976 King Kong brought back a funny memory. I was only 3 when it came out. My parents used to drop me, my older brother (10) and my older sister (9) off to the movies every Sunday. Leaving three kids under 10 alone at the movies would never happen these days. I found out years later they would have some "adult time" while we were at the movie. Usually we would see some sort of kids movie, but one day we were going to see king kong. Well, I could hear him roaring from outside while we were waiting on line for tickets. I refused to go in and my father had to take me home. I guess I ruined the fun that day. Makes me laugh when ever I think about it.

Another good young Tom Hanks movie is "The Burbs." Maybe a good one for Hallow-Beans.
