EARLY ACCESS: Best Little Wh0rehouse in Texas

Never in my life did I think that I would be watching a Dolly Parton movie on her tour bus, but here we are.  NEVER did I think she would be in an R rated movie... BUT HERE WE ARE.

The audio in the intro has the roar of the AC; during the review I actually try to reduce the noise and it sounds like I'm in a tin can.  It's the best I could do friends.

EARLY ACCESS: Best Little Wh0rehouse in Texas

I'd also recommend checking out the director's cut of Little Shop of Horrors for HallowBeans. Definitely check out the director's cut. The theatrical cut is good, but the director's cut has a better ending.

If you like Burt Reynolds in this, you should check out At Long Last Love. It's a great musical with Burt Reynolds singing in it too. It also has Madeline Kahn in it too.

By the way, when will watch Time Bandits (and, hopefully later, Brazil)?

Not only was this a real movie, but it is based on a true story. I remember when The Chickenranch was shut down (I live in Texas). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_Ranch_(Texas)

Long time listener, first time caller here . :) I would love for you to react to Jack The Bear. Staring Danny Devito and a very young Reese Witherspoon, among other actors. It was not a huge blockbuster, but if you want a film that will make you giggle and sob the next moment, I recommend it.

John Rabold

Thumbs up for the second half.

Kenton Kruger

I'd rather see her watch grease for the 2nd time than Xanadu for the 1st. Or... just skip the tribute to OLJ. As much as she's loved, she wasn't exactly known as a movie star. Let's save the movie watching tributes for huge movie stars with a great library of films

Mark Finley

In the scene in Jaws on the beach just before Alex Kintner(raft)is eaten you can hear "I Honestly Love You" playing on the radio...RIP ONJ

Paul Johnson

Also, it's about time (if she hasn't already) she got introduced to Gene Kelly. Xanadu can be a stepping stone towards Singing in the Rain.

Xanadu is a must! It is cheesy 80s but so good and the last movie Gene Kelly was in before he passed away. Plus an amazing animated scene by Don Bluth, the one who did The Secret of NIMH.

Sassafras and Lemons

Xana - Don't! Grease is the one that we want (doot doot doo)

Curtis Martin

Olivia Newton John, RIP. But I want Xanadu. I had all of her albums growing up and yes, Grease is the word, but Xanadu is so 80s.

Louise Brooks

Please. Not Xanadu. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Not even good enough to be on the Hot-Mess Express. Grease would be a much better choice.

Bruce Devine

I'm not big on it myself, but the movie has accumulated a cult following, to the point that it even inspired a successful Broadway musical. She might appreciate early 80s disco cheese.

Olivia Newton John RIP, many hours on the radio in my youth. Grease would be the best to watch

David Harrison

really? That's disappointing. I was hoping that would be the obvious choice if she was going to do a tribute to ONJ. Xanadu... is not good

Mark Finley

With the passing of Olivia Newton-John, maybe time to start adding Xanadu to the polls if you are interested in doing another 80s musicals. I am sure I heard you mention that you have seen Grease already.
