EARLY ACCESS: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Comments

This movie is one of the bigger MCU tear jerkers.

Joe Blankenship

I know right? Overboard is such a great feel good film. Kurt and Goldie play so well together. I sent Ashleigh the dvd a couple months ago, I hope she gets around to watching it. :)

Echo Moon

Overboard!!! She needs to watch this romcom!!! One of my favs. :)

Kelly Marie

In a commentary for a different MCU movie (I won't say which one), the filmmakers say audiences rarely cry seeing a character die, but they WILL cry seeing the surviving characters grieve. Methinks this movie delivers on that

Michael Tocci

Yep, still awaiting the full reveal.

The Goateed Geek

We've still yet to see the other side of that reveal

ingibingi2000

i love that you suggested your friend watch GOTG to start off her MCU journey! my friend suggested the same to me and now i’m a huge MCU fan with Guardians remaining my favorite films. can’t wait to see more from you, Ashleigh!

Good points!

the other, more likely possibility is that she recorded this reaction when we she still planned on putting the Pride movie on July 4th

Mark Finley

I think she misspoke. She already posted that Independence day will be the next Monday movie

So the arrival of Adam ... Adam Warlock, a fan favourite from the comics. But a real deep-cut for more modern readers

The Goateed Geek

As always, I love your reactions. The young Kurt Russell footage was some CGI stuff to make him look younger and I agree his face looks a bit off, but overall I think they did a great job of younging him.

OldBroadWithBaggage (Robin)

Didn't you say there was a Patreon poll up? Last movie poll I see was for the pride movie. Am I missing something?

A Galactic Reaction... NEXT...

Absolutely Kurt Russell could get it!! (I actually live just down the road from him and Goldie, although I have never met him, but my hubby has worked with him on a film once and he said Kurt was such a gentleman to the crew and just a nice person in general) I love everything he has been in: Soldier (1998), Big Trouble in Little Chine (1986 John Carpenter film), Escape from New York & LA (1981& 1996), Overboard (1987 he and Goldie are both in this and play so well together), Tombstone (1993), Backdraft (1981), The Thing of course, plus so many others. I hope you dive into more of his films. :) Keep up the good work Lil Sis!! Love ya.

Echo Moon

Gamora on Gamora: "I go by many names, Earthian, but I'm sure the one that most know me by is Gamora, the deadliest woman in the whole galaxy." Ashleigh on Gamora: "Green boo thing" Love it!

You like Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone together? I got three words for you: Tango and Cash.

“I didn’t know I was gonna cry!” To quote Hamilton: “There’s a million things I haven’t done… but just you wait, just you wait.” I personally prefer first Guardians over the second, but this is still fun and yeah, it’s an absolute bop with the soundtrack. Marvel soundtracks just rock, don’t they?

This is a pre-emptive "don't wear make up for Marvel films"
