When are you talking about, at the end? They've graduated and are on an aircraft carrier trying to protect a ship.

I never understood who they were fighting. Who’s attacking training pilots off the coast of California?

I noticed the name of the actor that played “Perry” (Charlie’s date at the bar) is named Pete Petigrew!

One of the things I've noticed about older films is how often the antagonist is just... right. Throughout the whole movie Iceman keeps telling Maverick how reckless he is and Maverick keeps proving him correct.
Then at the end, Iceman voices his concern about Maverick and it's seen as this antagonistic moment or some personal vendetta, which it isn't, and then we see Maverick freak out and break out of the fight, leaving Iceman to fend for himself until Maverick can commune with the dogtag spirits and finally get his shit together.
Iceman was right. the entire. time.

As much as Ashleigh likes Val and Robert Downey, she needs to watch Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. Maybe I was one of the few who loved that movie.

I played the hell out of the soundtrack as a kid. And saw the movie in the theater purely for Val Kilmer, who was my heartthrob. There are a lot of good memories mixed with this film and I’m glad I was able to enjoy Tom before he became what he is today.
HOWEVER. Having said all that, I have to tell you that I went to see the sequel not expecting much. I did for nostalgic reasons only. I was blown away by how amazing it is and would say (as many others have) that it’s so much better than the original. I know a lot of people crap on this movie, but I still enjoy it and I can’t wait to see the sequel again. No matter what else you want to say about Tom, he really stepped up to make the sequel and I recommend it to anyone. Watching the original with you was so much fun, Ashleigh!
Oh and as far as I know that wasn’t a wig on Meg Ryan. She had that same hairstyle when she was on “As the World Turns” in the early 80’s and kept it for years. But I could be wrong!

What's wrong with A League Of Their Own being a PRIDE series on Amazon? Specifically, what is wrong with it? Tell me in detail.

Oh, and they didn't have to license "Danger Zone" ... it was written for this movie. Everybody else has to license it.

Poor Tom Skerritt. You'd think she'd remember him from "Alien" or "Steel Magnolias".

I never intend to watch the whole movie. I'm just doing the YouTube edit for Ashleigh's sake. Once Tom Cruise jumped on Oprah's couch, and found out what Scientology actually was, I'm like, F that. Ain't supporting another Scientologist ever." And man, did they NEED to make A League of Their Own into a gay pride Amazon series? Good Lord. Gag me.

Yeah. I'd have been fine if another 30+ years had passed without it.

I am 50, and I have never watched this movie. AND, I’m a Navy brat!
UPDATE: I didn't like it. I will not be watching the sequel. I think I just hate Tom Cruise too much. However, I also could not bring myself to care about any of these stereotyped characters. I don't get the hype. I could have gone forever without this one. Ick. Tom Cruise.
