EARLY ACCESS: The Green Mile

I think this movie will forever be in the history books as one of the greats.  Tom Hanks can do no wrong. "I'm tired, boss." 😭

Good Sttuff!!!

James Falato

This is what turned me from a fan to a patron.

There's two movies that will make you cry like you've never cryed before (not trying to make you cry you understand) one is a Spielberbg movie SCHINDLERS LIST (which I recommend you don't watch alone) and a little movie about some very amazing dogies called EIGHT BELOW (you will need tissues)

RebRox65

I voted for it. I got the feeling a lot of people on here hadn't seen it.

Mark Sylvester

I couldn't do the full watchalong for this one. It makes me cry every time, plus you crying, I'd be over here bawling my eyes out.

Joe Blankenship

"Right turn Clyde!" :)

Paul Johnson

Think of Reacting to Clint Eastwood doing a 1978 Action/Comedy, "Every Which Way But Loose", the next time You Need to Watch a Fun Flick... An Excellent Change of Pace for Clint Eastwood...

James Falato

I wish she would watch only the Lonely, but it got trampled on a poll once

Mark Finley

Enjoying you take on classic moves, you really need to watch the ultimate John Candy movie which is COOL RUNNINGS it’s a great movie

RebRox65

Great reaction I felt for you all the way...just watched the short version after a long day of work will watch the full length very soon...loved this movie and it had me tearing up 1st time I saw it as well...so many great actors in this film and they all hit their marks perfectly even Percy that little bastard...John Coffey was played by Michael Clarke Duncan who sadly passed away in 2012 at age 54...I think the witnesses to executions are mostly family members of murder victims, the attorneys for the condemned who are there to see if the execution is carried out as humanely as possible and sometimes clergy who may be there to offer spiritual support to the condemned...I read somewhere that when Ted Bundy was electrocuted in Florida in 1989 his executioner was a woman which certainly would have been appropriate

Paul Johnson

People still watch electrocutions.

I know exactly how you feel. I have seen this movie well over 50 times and it still breaks me every time. Just watching your reaction made me cry. Amazing read as well. No one writes quite like King.

I think I remember pretty vividly you said the exact same thing about Shawshank, "What a great movie... What a great movie!!". I know that because I've seen that reaction like 5 times. Lol. What a great reaction! Ashleigh this is why your patrons love you so much. Just a beautiful spirit you are. Thanks for bearing yourself with us!

Brent Fugett

This was the first R- rated movie I saw in theaters (my mom had no idea what we were in for). I still remember just shaking in the seat for the whole movie after Del's execution. Still one of the best movies I've ever seen

β€œDefending Your Life” on Friday?! I’m so excited! Very good movie, unfortunately also very overlooked.
