EARLY ACCESS: Problem Child (1990)

in honor of Gilbert Gottfried passing; Problem Child seemed like a great way to honor him... except I think I'm going to choose to remember him from his voice acting in Aladdin.

EARLY ACCESS: Problem Child (1990)

Comments

He was on Joe Rogan just a few months back.

Nick of Time

TV Tuesdays for when she will inevitably be required to watch Wandavision, Loki, etc.

Nicholas & Heather

It's an absolutely horrible movie. But when it came out when I was 8 years old I thought it was hilarious. I've obviously matured since then. LOL

Thomas Snyder

I've had her respond, but both times it was something channel important, not personal. Last time was she was talking about doing a draw each month for the then empty MMMember slot, so I pointed her to the Patreon rule that might be in violation of that she might want to double check.

Kenton Kruger

So, uh... does Ashleigh ever respond to DMs, or is she just super-busy, right now (which I'm not surprised by)? :-/

Matt Blanchette

You've got to see "Cry, the Beloved Country" (the version Poitier was it). That seriously made me cry. :'-(

Matt Blanchette

TY for Celebrating Gilbert Gottfried... He makes us laugh just remembering him...

James Falato

Problem Child is a stinker, but I'm looking forward to The Karate Kid (long overdue) and This Is Spinal Tap!

Michael Waldrep

She should do a Sidney Poitier film. I would vote for" In the Heat of the Night" because I love that movie. But I would be for anything he was in. He was great. Ashleigh has seen him before in "Sneakers".

Mark Sylvester

Yeah, this isn't one I've ever seen or been interested in seeing. Gilbert was great but not even he could redeem this film. Another actor who died in January and whose movies are highly worth seeing is Sidney Poitier. He was incredible, definitely should check out "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," "Lilies of the Field," or "In the Heat of the Night."

Laura Neary Smith

Nothing to say about this movie, really, except that it is a horrible piece of shit and I am sorry you had to sit through it. The kid was a horrible actor, but not even Haley Joel Osment could have saved this dungheap. I will say, I never really understood why your absolute hatred of ET. Yes, I have seen the review and I still don't get it.

It's hard to believe that they actually did 2 sequels of this movie.

Keith Boyd

That is not Gilbert's real voice. If you look around on YouTube there are audio and videos of him talking and he had a very normal voice.

Keith Boyd

When you get to Beverly Hills Cop 2 (the first 2 are good, do that sequel), Gilbert is only in one scene, but it's probably the most memorable scene of the film. We can all bond over that one!

William Willis

I disagree. This is better than E.T.!!! Hahaha

Stevilicious

I loved this movie as a child but as an adult....it's just not that great.
