Pelham 1 2 3 is timely as there was a horrendous mass shooting on the subway in Brooklyn this morning. The shooter was on a train and I can imagine the NYPD and MYA are having some similar chats today. Sad. Best wishes to the wounded.

Walter Matthau is also great in a non comedic(for the most part) role in "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three"(1974) as are Robert Shaw("Jaws"), Martin Balsam("Psycho") and Hector Elizondo("Pretty Woman")...hoping it will appear here someday

Does anyone know if Ashleigh has a letterbox?

How have you not seen any Harry Potter๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคฃ Gonna have to get on that.

And a woman behind every great man. :-)

Mr. Smith is a little corny, but the climax is right what we need right now, and you can always put Jimmy Stewart and director Frank Capra together and get "It's a Wonderful Life" as a result.

No one is reacting so far to your plan to watch Mr Smith Goes to Washington on Friday. I'm all in and look forward to your review. There are many great films back then that still circulate. You should fit them into your schedule. For example: Jack Lemon & Walter Matthau in The Odd Couple, True Grit with John Wayne, To Kill A Mockingbird with Gregory Peck, High Noon with Gary Cooper, On Golden Pond with Henry Fonda, or Sidney Poitier in A Patch of Blue, To Sir With Love, or Lillies of the Field.

Ashleigh is the ONLY reactor that commented on Gwen DeMarco's obviously edited line when she sees "the chompers".

Knew you'd love it! BTW, since you're in Knoxville, try DragonCon in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. It's excellent; I've been going since the 80's. Tickets should be easy to get, though the main Con hotels sell out a year in advance.

D.C. has Awesome Con which is 3-5 June.

Chel Van Hel

I saw Galaxy Quest in the theatre without any high expectations and, like you, loved it! I think you'll also enjoy 9 to 5!

Michael Waldrep

Not a parody. It's a love letter with comedy. So glad you're doing 9 to 5.
