I want to be in the sequel!

Wally

I want to be in the sequel! If that's still going on lol

Jorge Lopez

This really tickled me. https://fb.watch/8s9shJFKNk/

Elliot Nesterman

Added that to the list! Thanks!

Tyler Foster

Tyler, I know this isn't the unboxing post, but let me grab you where I see you lol... Office Space and Ocean's Eleven that Ashleigh just got were from me. (I was so busy trying to take advantage of my Amazon Prime before it ran out and order super fast that I forgot to include gift notes lol.)

April Smith

Well, now that I know there are two contests... "I want to be in the sequel!"

Tyler Foster

It's neither, it's Pacific Time.

Tyler Foster

Usually 4pm central

Mark Sylvester

Is that Eastern or Central time?

Rickie Muth

Usually 3pm PST.

Tyler Foster

Hot Fuzz is a great movie. I imagine Ashleigh would like it too, given how much she liked Shaun of the Dead. I sent her Grosse Pointe Blank.

Tyler Foster

Does anyone know, if tomorrow is the next unboxing? If so what time?

Rickie Muth

Ash has got some good riffs in this lol , Steve would still be alive if I was his girlfriend

eric brown

I see he has a brother Richmond who is also an actor. I didn't know there was so many siblings. I now remember Alexis from Bride of Chucky.

Mark Sylvester

If you count Alexis Arquette he had three sisters.

Bill Bevins

Hmmmm not sure why but, I want to be in the sequel!!

Randy Alexander

The thumbnail on this is hilarious. The hands and the white pupils.

Joe Blankenship

Does anyone still SERIOUSLY recommend Hot Fuzz to reactors these days, unless they’re making a cynical joke about other movie-illiterate reactor-fan kids asking for the same two dozen titles over and over? That’s like asking for Tropic Thunder or Leon: the Professional with a straight face. 😅

Eric Janssen

Have we done Hot Fuzz, yet? If not… Hot Fuzz

Luis Torrefranca

This reminds me to recommend again for whenever: Grosse Pointe Blank

Luis Torrefranca

I want to be in the sequel!

Luis Torrefranca

I want to be in the sequel!

Torben Dix

Wes Craven as Freddy, the school janitor…Get it? 😉

Eric Janssen

I want to be in the sequel!

Nadine Rodriguez

I was going to say watch it for Christmas, but it looks like that's already been said. Trading Places is ALWAYS on my Christmas movie watch list.

Marci Flint

I had to change back from the $5 monthly pledge to be a top tier back to $20 tier JUST to see this review! I watched this movie when I was 2 thanks to my cousin being very irresponsible and leaving a 2 year old me in the room by myself a few times. Lmao! Other than that, great video Ash! ALSO, I want to be in the sequel!

Gio Vidrio

Agree 100%

Andy H.

Great movie to select for December 27th this year (between Christmas and New Years).

Kenton Kruger

I want to be in the sequel!

Steven A Martinez

Trading Places is a phenomenal movie, even if you didn't get to see Jamie Lee Curtis' titties. The titties are just a bonus, really.

Andy H.

There is a low budget horror/suspense film from 1963 called "The Sadist" directed by James Landis and starring schlock movie stalwart Arch Hall Jr....it was also shot in real time and is surprisingly effective and suspenseful...it was loosely based on the real life late 50's killing spree of Charles Starkweather and was the 1st film from cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond who would later win an Oscar for his cinematography on "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind"

Paul Johnson

The reporter in the zebra print jacket is Linda Blair Reagan from The Exorcist

Mike Johnson

I don't think the phrase will work here. Last year Ashleigh use a random picking App on the YouTube comment section of her uploads so I think it have to be posted there.

Mark Sylvester

David has two sisters. Patricia was in A Nightmare On Elm Street 3. I don't know if Rosanna was in any horror movies.

Mark Sylvester

YAY!! HALLO-BEANS IS BACK! I’ve been so looking forward to this. Night vision makes it much more fun!

Richard Meyer

Light hearted hallobeans idea: Haunted Honeymoon.

Katie Wright

Did you catch Linda Blair’s short cameo? A little Exorcist Easter Egg.

Katie Wright

I can’t believe Hallobeans is already here again. I discovered you during *last* Hallobeans.

Kate Cassidy

I want to be in the sequel! Lots of cool people in this one.

Raul Melendez

She gives it at the beginning of her review.

Bill Bevins

Because they were both shot in one continuous shot. When Hitchcock was shooting Rope, he would shoot one reel worth of film which was about ten minutes long. He would end the scene on a closeup of someone's back and pick up the next scene with new reel to make it appear the movie is one long take. 1917 tells it's story in a similar fashion, one long action sequence that seems like one take.

Bill Bevins

I want to be in the sequel 😀😀😀

Ashli Mays

why 1917

Leigh Nathaniel Silver

That was Henry "The Fonz" Winkler as the principal

Paul Johnson

Ahh! I’m so excited we got to this movie! Grade A reaction and I think you would love I Know What You Did Last Summer. Super long name to movie but still cinema gold!

Ullatec

Some suggestions for HalloBeans. John Carpenter's They Live, Cugo, The Shining, The Amityville Horror (the 1979 version), and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the 1974 version).

Keith Boyd

The principal is played by Henry Winkler, aka The Fonz from Happy Days. The janitor is played by Wes Craven himself, he also directed A Nightmare On Elm Street. The reporter is played by Courtney Cox from the show Friends. Duewey is played by David Arquette. Him and Courtney Cox get married in real life and this is how they met. Also a short Did You Know: David Arquette;s sister Rosanna was in A Nightmare On Elm Street 3.

Keith Boyd

I want to be in the sequel! As for fun little bits of trivia - here's one for you: originally, Dewey was supposed to die along with his sister, Tatum, but everybody enjoyed his performance so much that Wes decided to change things at the last minute and re-write the ending with him being loaded into the ambulance. And YES - David Arquette who played Dewey and Courtney Cox who played Gale absolutely had the hots for each other while filming this. It wasn't just their characters flirting ;> ALSO! The guy playing 'Fred' the janitor was none other than the director, Wes Craven, himself in a little cameo.

Rue

I want to be in the sequel! !!!!!! :)

Keith Boyd

I want to be in the sequel! :)

Rebecca Monk

Editing Ashley: there's a typo in one of the overlay texts ("worest" instead of "worst"). No big deal, just wanted to point it out in case it can still be fixed.

Tim Van Holder

I want to be in the sequel....also Terminator 2....

Timothy Estrada

I want to be in the sequel!

Victoria

Also the phone wasn't supposed to hit him. The fake blood made it stick to Skeet's hand. It was supposed to go to the ground. Lillard's "You hit me with phone dick" was an honest response that Craven left in.

Mark Sylvester

I initially thought this was the secret phrase also. She gives it during her review so you may want to check it out. Or just look at other posts where people are repeating the same phrase.

Bill Bevins

I just recently watched it and it really holds up well. I got interested in rewatching it after watching 1917.

Bill Bevins

I want to be in the sequel! Hallow Beans: The Cat-aclysimic Cat-strophe

Gordon Davis

I want to be in the sequel! :)

Paul Johnson

“Can you handle that ? Blondie “

Amy Nielsen

FYI, I would check if you have to comment on the video rather than on here for the giveaway.

Tyler Foster

HUZZAH! Great start to HalloBeans! I loved re-watching this with you!

Jill Peterson

I want to be in the sequel! So queue me up, gurl! BTW, Cassandra Peterson (“Elvira, Mistress of the Dark”) just released her memoir! I highly, highly, highly recommend that you read it. It is entitled, “Yours Cruelly, Elvira: Memoirs of the Mistress of te Dark”. You can get a signed copy on her website or order an unsigned one from Amazon. She’s my favorite!!

SapioPhD

I want to be in the sequel!!!

Leaf on the Wind

I really like this movie, I'm glad you reacted to it and liked it. Other similar movies I think you would like are I Know What You Did Last Summer and Urban Legend.

Michael Waldrep

I want to be in the sequel

Nick Russo

“I want to be in the sequel”

Vicky phillips

“Can you handle that? Blondie” - said Dagwood

Gordon Davis

For more light hearted Hallow Beans material, recommend The Frighteners and Practical Magic. For both light hearted and scary and sexy: 1985’s Fright Night ( not the terrible 2010 remake)

Gordon Davis

Did I miss the phrase for HalloBeans? Saw this in the theater back when it came out and loved it then. Fun fact: Matthew Lilliard, aka Shaggy, improvised the line about his parents. Wes Craven loved it and kept it in the final cut.

Cristina Collins-Armstrong

You need to watch Rope 1948

Leigh Nathaniel Silver

An excellent start to HalloBeans 2021!!!

Lynnetta

The principal is Fonzie. The scream mask is based on the art piece "The Scream" by norwegian artist Edward Munch.

Daniel Örtoft

Good first movie to kick off Hallowbeans. It's funny you mentioned this movie being parodied when this movie itself is a parody of other horror movies. Side note: the reporter Gale (Courtney Cox) and Dewey (David Arquette) were married for 14 years before they split in 2013.

Bill Bevins

"I want to be in the sequel."

Bill Bevins

I love this movie! Especially since they filmed the sequel on my college campus! Cannot wait to watch this when I get home.

Rebecca Monk

Omg!
