It's a little bit unsynced I'm afraid.

Lucas Hammar

Always watch after credits with Marvel movies.

I for one am happy to see you take your time with the MCU, it helps build up the tension as you progress from film to film all the way up to Endgame and the tears that will soon follow.

Remember Darcy saying that a primitive society might have worshipped them as gods? So they are aliens. With super strength and technology so powerful as to be indistinguishable from magic. But not actual gods. This was great fun watching with you! I’m so glad you looked this one so much. It is one of my favourites too and doesn’t get a lot of love from the fan base.

Natalie Portman is short, she had to stand on a box for the kissingscenes. :) She adressed it peronally on The Graham Norton Show.

Please! Pretty please! Super pretty please!

Fun reaction! Not sure if you have anything 4th of July-related planned, but you should definitely watch The Patriot from 2000.

Give you some advice on the MCU: things are not always chronological order. Someone who dies might yet get a 'prequel' style movie or series. Likewise, someone who is dead may stay dead and no appear again. Just because you see a name for a future production does not mean it is chronologically after what you have already seen.

I don't believe Laufey knew that Loki was his kid, since Laufey had left Loki to die of exposure as an infant. Loki is, in Norse Mythology, known as the God of Trickery and Lies. And Loki is my favorite MCU character. I love Captain America, and Hawkeye (Hawkeye was the man with the bow in this one), but I LOVE Loki.

And he doesn't show up in the movie, but Tuesday is Tyr's Day.

Kevin Mowery

"I hope Loki doesn't turn bad..." Oh you sweet summer child....😆

Andy H.

Yep, Thor's Day=Thursday. Also, Odin/Woden's Day=Wednesday And Frigg/Freya's Day=Friday

Darcy's my favorite. That is all lol

Based on that sound she made with shirtless Hemsworth, Thor… could get it. Yeah, this was the proof of concept movie for Marvel. Iron Man could be its own thing, Hulk had proven pedigree, but Thor? He needed to work to sell me on Marvel creating new stuff. And it did. I can’t believe it’s been TEN YEARS since I first saw this movie, but it still holds up. And so much stuff for the future brought in in this movie. As for Loki… not a movie, per se. You’ll see when you get there. And I encourage the pace you are at. Yes, there are over 20 movies, plus the other stuff, plus what’s coming. But a journey well worth taking and savoring. That and I just really love watching Marvel with others for the first time. Reminds me of where I was when I started, how happy I am where I am now and how excited to get to where we’re going.

We are at meta-levels of "can't comment on what Ashleigh just said because SPOILERS"

It's so funny, I look at Chris Hemsworth in this and Avengers and all I can think is thank god they stopped bleaching his beard and eyebrows eventually!

Pretty much every reactor I've seen tackle the MCU has eventually gone to a schedule with at least one Marvel movie a week, either because they really want to see what comes next, or because they really want to get caught up so they don't have this huge backlog of things people want them to react to. Maybe both. Anyway, waiting to see how long until we end up with Millennal Movie Monday, Millennial Member Movie Friday, and Millennial Marvel Movie Thorsday.

Kevin Mowery

Also, maybe now you are getting an idea why people keep insisting that you watch them in release order. The movies, and their mid- and post-credit scenes all build and build and build. Skipping around - or taking them out of order - on your first viewing, would throw things out of whack.

Whenever somebody says "god" just replace it with "really, really, really, really, really, REALLY advanced science". They don't really mean God god.

Thomas Yanez

I like this movie a lot too. 5 out of 5 stars? I'm thinking you are going to LOOOVE some of the other movies coming then. They just start getting better and better. At this point, as much as I like this first Thor movie, it's about number ten on my list of MCU movies.

Robert Reichle

Looooved watching this with you! Asgardians are both aliens and Gods. Like how he said science and magic is one in the same for him. Loki's one of my favourite characters, I can't wait for you to see more of him 💚

JSounds

Also, yes.

Thomas Yanez

Well, my lunch break just got planned...
