EARLY ACCESS: Thor

Comments

Yaaaaaasssss! I have never understood why Thor always gets ranked so low in the Marvel lists. I think it is one of the top 3. Beautifully shot, engaging pacing (something some of the other movies could improve on), Marvel humour, and by far, the best villain and best storyline/relationship of the entire Marvel Universe in Thor and Loki.

Heather Qualy

It has to at least be this month. I know she has a schedule so I’d gladly give some slack to that. :)

Cal

It would have been awesome, if you watch Independence Day for 4th of July. Lol.

Brandie Woodward

Maybe he can have April 1st.

Poor Loki.

Tyler Foster

Sun-day, Moon-day, Tiws-day, Odin’s-day, Thor’s-day, Frija’s-day and Saturn’s-day

Must have been a relief to know he didn't have to work out for that movie. Just slap on a body suit. 😆

Andy H.

Except for Thor 2.

Eric Janssen

And while she doesn't have a copy of Henry V, I could see it getting a watch. Branagh knew how to make Shakespeare for the popcorn audience. (Although "Much Ado About Nothing" is more of an Ash film, and no copy of that either.)

Eric Janssen

So, it's Captain America: TFA next, and then The Avengers, and then...why are we supposed to watch Iron Man 3, again? I forgot.

Eric Janssen

Yeah, and then look what happened by the time they made Endgame...

Eric Janssen

Cap next....!

Brett Delbridge

That one scene with the Destroyer made me realize she hasn’t seen Terminator 1 & 2 yet. Can’t wait for those. :)

Cal

Fun fact: Chris Hemsworth actually put on too much muscle for this role and had to stop working out in order to fit into his costume.

You could probably have a separate channel with just MCU movies & TV shows.

Michael Waldrep

LOL, her face when shirtless Thor showed up.

Thomas Yanez

So was it the action, the visuals, the banter, or shirtless Thor that gave it 5 stars?

Jack Jones

Director Kenneth Branagh began his career as an actor on the British stage and became arguably the best British actor of his generation. His feature film directing debut came in 1989 with his adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry V for which he received Oscar nomination for both best actor and director. One of his best films is the noirish thriller Dead Againwhich I am aware that you have a copy of.

Alexander Fish

I am very excited to see what you think of Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Tyler Foster

Loki? His name should be Highkey, nah I mean? >:) The next movie is the one I am most looking forward to you seeing in the first wave. When you were talking about interplanetary/intergalactic (or as you put it inter galaxy :P) I just had the beastie boys song play in my head. The frost people aren't small...well, yeah ashleigh, that's why they are Frost GIANTS. LOL :P Chris is both tall and natalie portman short. I have a feeling you will quickly change your tune on one movie a month. They only get better from here. I feel this is the weakest wave/phase of them all so far.

If you like Steve Martin in Planes Trains and Automobiles, give Mixed Nuts ago (1994) or while staying in 1994 give Radioland Murders a try. Both good comedies.

I have a fever and the only prescription is more Beans! What am I to do now? :(

The Loki thing you've been seeing ads for is a series on Disney+ rather than his own movie. That aside, Loki for sure sticks around for a bit 😉

Amstrad

Awww man no Beans today. All good. Great reaction to Thor. I like that each movie progressively ranks at number 1 for you. Now wait til you get to Captain America, then we shall see who ranks at number 1.

Gio Vidrio

Loki currently has a series on Disney, which just finished part four of six. However it starts off at the end of Avengers: Endgame, which you’re gonna have to go through about 20 films to get to do! Trust me they are all worth it!

Bobby Bates

Ashleigh I have a request!!! Could you do another music video singing Dolly Parton's Jolene? You are so cute...cute as a button!!!!

WEEZER MANN

It is clear you have a high anticipation for the coming movies and for you I see it as you ONLY have to wait a month that is self imposed. For many of us who were all in after Iron Man, there was a year or sometimes more before we could enjoy the “next installment” of the series. There are few movies or franchises that have found this lightning in a bottle, but you are on journey so buckle up! Keep up the good reactions and I’ll see you at the movies!

Ullatec

We like this review! [smashes like buttons] ANOTHER!

Ashleigh, You’ve now experienced what is known as Nick Fury’s Big Week, where Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Thor all take place within the same few days. There’s an Easter egg in IM2, when Tony is in his home talking with Fury, on a tv in the background you can see news footage of the Hulk at the university.
