EARLY ACCESS: Tremors

Comments

Had Blake seen it, and did you end up watching it together that evening? [Sorry for being nosy]

Joe Hoy

I would LOVE to see you watch 9 to 5 though. Just rewatched it last week. Sheer perfection.

Louise Brooks

I'm good with Ashleigh picks or polls, either way. I'm happy to support regardless. She cracks me up.

Louise Brooks

Well said. I agree on this as well, however, she did state she created a Patreon account for the soul purpose to give everyone a voice and make executive decisions with her during these polls. There will come a time when she calls up a relative and said relative convinces her to watch it, then all the Karen’s and Walter’s on here complain about “wHy aRe wE eVeN pAyInG yOu mOnEy fOr?!” We’re all one family, even if she has to choose her blood family over us. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Gio Vidrio

you need to make an executive decision and do 9 to 5(others have recommended it, Dolly Parton is one of the leads). If you love Dolly as much as Reba, its sort of a a no brainer. No need to wait for a poll etc. I actually preferred when you just made the choices, not relying on polls.

Birdie Num Num

No one needs to see Dune (1984). I thought I did once, as a fan of both sci-fi and David Lynch, but boy was I wrong. For big bugs and sci-fi cheesiness, I would point towards Starship Troopers.

Nick of Time

By the way, the german title for "Tremors" is "In the Land of the Rocket Worms"... one additional hurdle this movie had to overcome to be taken seriously. I think you all should know this... :P

Manuel Johnen

😎😎😎 Thank you@

Ashleigh Burton

Which is VERY hard to believe.

Ashleigh Burton

I forgot at PTA!

Ashleigh Burton

Awesome

Mike Johnson

Love me some Reba , seen her 4 times so far.

Vicky phillips

Same!! Love Reba

Vicky phillips

Another Awesome review. Sex Ed in the south hilarious 🤣. I saw Reba in concert in Winston Salem N.C. back in late 90s during a snowstorm. John Michael Montgomery opened for her. It was awesome she changed outfits several times during the show and wore the Red Dress when she sang Fancy.

Mike Johnson

Super fun reaction!!!

Lynnetta

I knew you would love this one! Great cast, wonderfully cool and original monsters(the tongues reminded me of Ghidorah heads don't know how many will get that reference)and lots of action, comedy and suspense from start to finish! Reba rocks! :)

Paul Johnson

Not far off from Lone Pine Mall in back to the future? LOL :P

It was filmed in Lone Pine, CA. Not far from Death Valley.

Daniel Örtoft

When this movie made you jump more times than The Thing. 🤦🏽‍♂️😂

Gio Vidrio

BTW, Victor Wong - the actor who played Walter - shows up in the 1986 film 'Big Trouble in Little China' as well as Egg Shen. #ItIsAllConnected!

Carl Sage

Best line of the day: "Sometimes the crazies come in handy."

Carl Sage

you have seen Kevin Bacon three times, friday 13th, planes trains and automobiles, and this

Eric Greenwood

"Cast a Deadly Spell" is great, unfortunately that one doesn't get mentioned enough...

Manuel Johnen

HOLY SHIT. I didn't know that about the kid. That is so crazy.

Ashleigh Burton

ALWAYS NEED MORE REBA

Ashleigh Burton

DAMN IT. He was in that movie for like 3 seconds!

Ashleigh Burton

I'm just glad it did honestly.

Ashleigh Burton

Oh wow - I wonder why Fred wasn't in more.

Ashleigh Burton

Other good Kevin Bacon movies include Animal House, Footloose, Stir of Echoes, Flatliners, Apollo 13, and A Few Good Men. Other good movies with Fred Ward are Remo Williams, Tge Right Stuff, Miami Blues, Uncommon Valor, and Cast a Deadly Spell.

Bill Bevins

Some folks with big noses put extra sun screen on their nose because in the hot sun it will bloom like a red rose if unprotected. I have to be careful in the sun myself with the size of my schnozz. This movie is awesome. Not only scary but quite funny as well.

Bill Bevins

They shot most of the movie in the Owens Valley area of California. Some of the movie was shot in the Alabama Hills (which was a hot spot for many Westerns and Sci-Fi movies and TV shows), Olancha and even some was shot in the near-ghost town of Darwin, California. Also, the pogo stick girl was the hacker girl in Jurassic Park. 😁

Bryan Foster

I watched this recently, and it remains one of my favorites! But now, I feel that there should’ve been a little more Reba. Maybe a extra scene or two.

Richard Meyer

Part 2 ("Aftershocks") is still surprisingly good... after that one, though...

Manuel Johnen

It’s your third time seeing Kevin Bacon. Don’t forget “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”! If you like Fred Ward you should watch “Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins”. He was also great in “The Right Stuff”.

Ian Jones

I'm not quite sure how a lower budgeted b-movie about carnivorous subterranean prehistoric tentacled worms managed to turn out to be a masterpiece of moviemaking, but it did. :)

Manuel Johnen

I'm so happy you enjoyed this film. It's always been one of my favorite popcorn flicks with just the right blend of actiony horror/comedy with some gooeyness thrown in for the heck of it. Thank you so much for sharing. Fred Ward has been around quie a while but there's not a lot of his career I would suggest to you. REMO WILLIAMS: THE ADVENTURE BEGINS would probably be the best choice as it has a similar blend of lighthearted action. THE RIGHT STUFF is a fantastic film if (and this is a huge damn "IF") you're up for a three hour plus, semi-historical film about America's early days of astronaut training and the space race. If this doesn't grab you, skip it.

T.J. Gengler

Oh, man! Watched Tremors soooooo much as a little one, it's gonna be a real treat to see you react to it regardless of how you feel. My childhood right here.

This movie series has always been my jam. I've loved each and every one of them. I will never say they are all 'good' movies, but Burt Gummer is life.
