LIVE UNBOXING

Comments

If you’re going to do the knee-jerk “Watch this movie because the actor’s obit was on Google News today!”, then.....Network (1976). YOU WILL REPENT. (Oh, and the 1978 Superman. Do it for Mr. Luthoah.)

Eric Janssen

Deliverance (1972)... Watch and freak out!!! Do it for NED,...NED BEATTY!!! he sacrificed his Dignity for this film!!! Watch this film and you will see. Its quite shocking stuff!!!!!

WEEZER MANN

I like both Thomas Crowns, but the one I sent her is actually the Pierce Brosnan/Rene Russo/John McTiernan remake.

Tyler Foster

For a second I thought you had confused M*A*S*H and Nashville... I'd forgotten about the Connie Britton show.

Tyler Foster

Also about "The Thomas Crown Affair"...when that movie was shot in and around Boston in the late 60's my dad worked as Steve McQueen's driver getting him to and from sets and locations...he attended the wrap party at a house on Cape Cod rented by director Norm Jewison along with my mom and myself(I was less than a year old)...for many years my folks had a picture of Steve McQueen holding baby me sadly the album containing that photo was lost in a move...also dad worked as Cliff Robertson's driver when he shot "Charly"(a film about a mentally handicapped man who becomes a genius after an experimental procedure)in Boston that same year and one day when mom visited dad on the set with me the director wanted to shoot a scene where Robertson's character holds a baby and I was it! Alas my scene didn't make the final cut but I keep an eye out for a director's cut I might pop up in lol...anyway that's my "meeting famous people" story

Paul Johnson

I saw "Deliverance" popped up in the chat...RIP Ned Beatty

Paul Johnson

And "Nashville", while an AFI 100 great-American-classic, is not technically a movie ABOUT Nashville, although it does have the Grand Old Opry and country music in it. But if you're expecting the TV series, this isn't it...In a good way. And just to clarify expectations for the Nth time: Cher is NOT a mermaid in “Mermaids”, but Daryl Hannah in “Splash” is. And Don Knotts in "Incredible Mr. Limpet"...sort of half counts.

Eric Janssen

Ashleigh just to let you know "Scent of a Woman" despite the title is a very good movie. Al Pacino(Michael of The Godfather} won an Oscar for this movie.

Mark Sylvester

That's a lot of work. Cool of you to do, thanks.

Kenton Kruger

I compiled a spreadsheet of everything she's already been sent in a Live so that nobody sends her a duplicate item. Feel free to add comments if I have not identified you as the gift-giver, and I will update it, as well as updating it live today. If it's helpful, feel free to share it around as well. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zYAmfdnT4HQxTyfV8EbkSbiG5QkteNFnwNSMrUc2XBY/edit?usp=sharing

Beans lounging like royalty in the picture.

Wow what a thumbnail!!!!! Hubba Hubba!!!!! You are so Perdy lookin' !!!!!!😍

WEEZER MANN

Let's start the betting--It’s hard to outdo Caveman, Street Trash and Under the Rainbow, but I’m sure someone will lower the new bar this month. Btw, the idiot who thought he was sending her "Cannonball Run" last time was actually sending her Cannonball Run II...Yes, the one where they replace the race with a cartoon and Menudo song, and Frank Sinatra doesn't seem to be in the same movie with the other actors.

Eric Janssen

This is tomorrow? Just saw June 13th, so yes. Tomorrow, Travis. See her unbox "Ernest Scared Stupid". Hehe.
