What's Next?

Monday is Pulp Fiction and 5/24 is Stripes - but tell me what's kicking off June?

Also - I am working ahead so I don't miss any uploads while we're gone to Cancun the first week of June - so no worries on that!

Also also - I just ordered blue contacts for my reba impression at the end of Tremors which will be coming in June!

Comments

Ladyhawke is a decent movie, but there are dozens that are "more classic."

Joseph Stevenson

I finally watched it a few years ago after decades of female friends gushing over it. I liked it well enough, but wasn't blown away. It's definitely a film with a strong gender split.

Elliot Nesterman

90% of the audience probably has no idea what Ladyhawke is...

Danika Silva

He Could Get It, Episode IV The Golden Age John Barrymore The most famous American stage actor of the time, he was widely considered the finest Hamlet of his generation. A matinee idol in his prime, he was nicknamed "The Great Profile." Sadly he passed away in 1942 at the age of sixty from the ravages of alcoholism. He was Drew Barrymore's grandfather. "Dinner at Eight" (drama, comedy) Barrymore, Jean Harlow "Twentieth Century" (screwball comedy) Barrymore, Carole Lombard William Powell Always a suave and sophisticated presence on screen he became linked, professionally not romantically, with the beautiful Myrna Loy. Their on-screen chemistry was so strong that they were cast in fourteen films together. "The Thin Man" (mystery, comedy) Powell, Myrna Loy, Asta (their dog) "My Man Godfrey" (screwball comedy) Powell, Carole Lombard Clark Gable A great actor, a matinee idol, and always box office gold, he was often called, "The King of Hollywood." He died in 1939, at the age of fifty-six. He was famous for doing his own stunts. At the end of Blazing Saddles when Hedley Lamarr is shot and says, "How did he do such fantastic stunts with such little feet?" it is Fairbanks he is referring to. "The Taming of the Shrew" (first sound adaptation of Shakespeare) Fairbanks, Mary Pickford "The Private Life of Don Juan" (adventure, drama) Fairbanks, Merle Oberon Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. While he started out trying to distance himself a bit from his father's legacy as an action hero, eventually he accepted that role being cast almost exclusively in action and adventure films. "Gunga Din" (adventure) Fairbanks, Jr., Cary Grant, Victor McLaglen, Sam Jaffe "The Corsican Brothers" (adventure) Fairbanks, Jr., Ruth Warrick

Elliot Nesterman

Cool Hand Luke ✋

Danika Silva

I don't recall anyone suggesting "The French Connection" (1971). One of the best action-thrillers ever made, it is based on the non-fiction memoir of the same title. It won multiple international awards, including Oscars for Best Director - Willliam Friedkin (who also directed The Exorcist); Best Actor - Gene Hackman; Best Adapted Screenplay; Best Editing; and Best Picture.

Elliot Nesterman

What is the category? Erotic Curiosities? If the category is Romantic Thriller then the go to film is certainly "Fatal Attraction."

Elliot Nesterman

Next poll hopefully: "9½ weeks", "The secretary", "Shortbus". Is there a fourth classic movie in the same category?

Aniara

Pride month movie. I think a movie you would like is In and Out with Kevin Kline, Joan Cusack and Tom Selleck. Fun movie that keeps it light with a message for the mainstream.

Eric Frazee

National Treasure w/ Nicolas Cage Dr. Strangelove

Nicholas & Heather

Can we try to have a Politics movie theme for July or something. - James Stewart ( Mr. Smith Goes to Washington) - Kevin Kline (DAVE) - Daniel Day Lewis ( Lincoln) - But you've GOT to AT LEAST watch the musical 1776, about signing the Declaration of Independence. for the 4th of July

Nicholas & Heather

Great list! Love "The Maltese Falcon" and another great Bogie flick is John Huston's "Treasure of the Sierra Madre"! As for Cagney gotta have "White Heat"..."Gunfight at the OK Corral" is a great Douglas/Lancaster vehicle...just about anything from the Eastwood catalog is great such as "High Plains Drifter" and "The Outlaw Josey Wales" as for Mitchum the 2 flicks listed are great and another great one of his is 1973's "The Friends of Eddie Coyle" which was shot in Boston...my uncle worked as Mitchum's driver during the shoot

Paul Johnson

He Could Get It, Episode III The Tough Guys James Cagney The Public Enemy (crime, drama) Cagney, Jean Harlow Footlight Parade (musical) Cagney, Joan Blondell, Ruby Keeler, Dick Powell Though mostly cast in tough guy roles Cagney said of himself, "I'm just a hoofer who made good." Humphrey Bogart The Maltese Falcon (crime, mystery, film-noir) Bogart, Mary Astor To Have and Have Not (adventure, comedy, film-noir) Bogart, Lauren Bacall and, of course, Casablanca Burt Lancaster From Here to Eternity (drama, war, romance) Lancaster, Deborah Kerr Sweet Smell of Success (drama, film-noir) Lancaster, Tony Curtis Kirk Douglas Ace in the Hole (drama, film-noir) Douglas, Jan Sterling Spartacus (adventure, historical drama) Douglas, Jean Simmons Clint Eastwood The Man-With-No-Name Trilogy: "A Fistful of Dollars," "For a Few Dollars More," "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" The Dirty Harry Pentalogy: "Dirty Harry," "Magnum Force," "The Enforcer," "Sudden Impact," "The Dead Pool" Yul Brynner The King and I (musical) Brynner, Deborah Kerr Brynner reprising his Tony winning role; Kerr's singing dubbed by the great Marni Nixon The Magnificent Seven (western, action, adventure) Brynner, Steve McQueen, et al. Robert Mitchum The Night of the Hunter (crime, drama, film-noir) Mitchum, Shelley Winters Cape Fear (crime, thriller) Mitchum, Gregory Peck, Polly Bergen

Elliot Nesterman

Has anyone suggested the Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee Jones "The Fugitive" (1993)? That's a damn exciting thriller.

Elliot Nesterman

Just found out about Charles Grodin from here..I’d love to see reactions to Beethoven, and the first two Muppet movies from 1979 and 1981 (Mr. Grodin was in this one). Diana Rigg, who died in September was also in The Great Muppet Caper as his sister.

Paul Krueger

I thought most people remembered Fannie Flagg for her years on Match Game. (Or at least, if they're still watching the 70's reruns on PlutoTV.)

Eric Janssen

FWIW, I voted for Fried Green Tomatoes. Though I've not seen it I'm sure it's right up her street. It's based on Fanny Flagg's novel, who is wonderful comic writer and actress, and was co-screenwriter. She was in one of my favorite comedy programs from the 60s, the US version of "That Was the Week that Was," commonly known as TW3. These days TW3 is most remembered for the topical songs written for the show by Tom Lehrer.

Elliot Nesterman

Midge, the thing is though is that these are movies that we're picking - that we want her reactions to. She's asking for us all to vote and if it's a male vote then that's what it'll be. If more ladies were in the community and voted more strongly for Ladyhawke, Fried Green Tomatoes or whatever else - that's what we'd watch. I've voted for The Big Lebowski each time and it's always falling short. It's a bummer but I'm okay with it. HOPEFULLY we'll get to it someday. I've never seen Fried Green Tomatoes though - worth watching? Should I wait for her reaction to it if/when it happens or just watch on my own first? Thanks! :)

Logan Kerlee

Hey, I've posted two lists of "He Could Get It," so far and more coming. Really more for my own amusement than anything else, but you never know.

Elliot Nesterman

Yeah - I don't think a lot of people are considering her tastes. They seem to be all about showing her what they like, and expecting the same reaction.

Midge

Let me point out how male your patron base is when looking at Ladyhawke’s votes. And Fried Green Tomatoes, for that matter.

Kristen North

You want to see Rutger Hauer evil? Watch The Hitcher. You want to see Rutger Hauer good? Watch Blind Fury and Split Second. Ya got a couple of options!

Manuel Johnen

You want to see Rutger Hauer evil? Watch Bladerunner. You want to see Rutger Hauer good? Watch Ladyhawke. Ya got a couple of options! 😄

Fatty Boombatty

(Those Apartments.com ads sure do try their darnedest, though...)

Eric Janssen

Jurassic Park, despite it's age at this point, holds up amazingly well. Plus it's hard to go wrong with Jeff Goldblum!

Josh Hines

An overlooked film of Grodin's, but one I've always enjoyed, is the 1974 heist comedy "11 Harrowhouse." It co-stars Candice Bergen, James Mason, Trevor Howard, and John Gielgud.

Elliot Nesterman

If I was a top tier patron, Midnight Run would be my first pick. I'm pretty sure she would like it after her Planes, Trains reaction.

Birdie Num Num

I was LITERALLY just wondering what had happened to him, after he'd snapped and sunk into the cable-talk-pundit years and then disappeared...

Eric Janssen

Jumping in to say that today's announcement of Charles Grodin's death (age 89) reminds me that Midnight Run is a deeply underrated hilarious movie. An action/crime hilarious movie to boot.

Kristen North

Primarily voting for Lebowski. I've got a lot of good memories of that movie. It introduced me to my favorite cocktail, it was the first date movie for my ex and I. And The Dude is one of two people I got told I looked like in college (the other was Mick Foley).

Kevin Mowery

And does she have to light up, too? (That's...usually the main reason/impetus most of its fans WATCH it.)

Eric Janssen

how about Burt Reynolds? Smokey and the Bandit (1977, with Sally Field), and Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982, with Dolly Parton)

SCSponge

Just saying: before you watch The Big Lebowski, you're gonna have to mix yourself a White Russian.

SCSponge

He Could Get It, Part II Paul Newman -- Cool Hand Luke (prison drama) Newman, George Kennedy -- Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (drama) Newman, Elizabeth Taylor Robert Redford -- Three Days of the Condor (spy thriller) Redford, Faye Dunaway -- The Hot Rock (heist comedy) Redford, George Segal Newman/Redford double headers -- Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (western) Newman, Redford, Katherine Ross (screenplay by William Goldman, who wrote The Princess Bride) -- The Sting (crime, drama, comedy) Newman, Redford, Robert Shaw Steve McQueen -- The Thomas Crown Affair (crime) McQueen, Faye Dunaway -- Bullitt (police action) McQueen, Jaqueline Bisset James Garner -- The Great Escape (war, drama, comedy) Garner, McQueen, et al. -- Victor/Victoria (musical) Garner, Julie Andrews, Robert Preston Peter O'Toole -- Lawrence of Arabia (war, biography) O'Toole, Omar Sharif, Alec Guiness, et al. (After the premier Sir Noel Coward observed, "If they'd made Peter O'Toole any prettier they'd have had to call it "Florence of Arabia.") Two caveats about this film: 1. It is nearly four hours long, though there is an intermission at 2:20. 2. Apart from the wonderful performances it is notable for the magnificent cinematography and Maurice Jarre's beautiful score. So it should be watched on a big screen with good sound. Make an evening of it. -- How to Steal a Million (heist comedy) O'Toole, Audrey Hepburn Michael Caine -- The Italian Job (crime comedy) Caine, Noel Coward, Benny Hill -- Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (crime comedy) Caine, Steve Martin Richard Burton -- The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (espionage thriller) Burton, Claire Bloom -- Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (drama) Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, George Segal, Sandy Dennis

Elliot Nesterman

great flick

Any time is a good time for The Producers (the Mel Brooks/Gene Wilder version), now that she's got the disk. Unlike last time, now she's got so many GOOD disks from the last unboxing, we need another "Spring Cleaning" month. (Just...not "Street Trash" and "Under the Rainbow", 'kay? Who were the wise guys??)

Eric Janssen

It might be hard for you to do this depending on how much you know about a movie, but I might suggest that a movie like Jurassic Park should be left off the polls. You could do one "major" movie each month like JP, and then use the poll for the other three weeks of the month for stuff that is a little more divisive. Of course, not knowing anything about the movies in advance might make this somewhat trickier, but I have to imagine the number of people who request something like Jurassic Park is significantly higher than the other three on this poll.

Tyler Foster

Since Broadway will be opening up in September that might be a good time to schedule "The Producers." Before that, add "Some Like It Hot" into the mix. It is widely regarded as one of the funniest American films ever made. Currently it holds the #1 spot on AFI's "100 Years... 100 Laughs" list.

Elliot Nesterman

Though I don’t think Tomatoes has a chance here, I voted for it again anyway. Big Lebowski has a big cult following. It’s not just stoners. Me and my bro recorded Ladyhawke off the TV back in the day with our VCR, because in the 80s we fantasy genre fans were DESPERATE for any and all things: sword and sorcery. I re-watched it recently and decided there’s a few noteworthy MOMENTS in it, but the rest of the movie is a slow-crawl to those moments 😩😩😩 it’s surprising you never saw Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs are just fascinating for all ages. I happen to remember that movie came out around the same time as Pulp Fiction coincidentally... and one of the last of decent Arnold Schwarzenegger movies (that was just “okay”) The Last Action Hero. JP completely DESTROYED it at the box office.

Fatty Boombatty

I hate to be the real-world geezer who has to tell a generation of fangirls that neither Ladyhawke, Labyrinth nor Legend did very well at the theaters, usually because of their messy/predictable scripts.

Eric Janssen

Ladyhawk is actually an inspiration of many for my own movieproject!

Daniel Örtoft

❤️❤️❤️ I am so thrilled Ladyhawke has made it to a poll!!! It may not be chosen right away but if you include it more often down the road then I'm sure it'll selected eventually! It's in the "I wish I have watched this sooner" category!! I’m patient, I can wait for it! Forgot to mention that this has Matthew Broderick in it and this would be a great lead up to seeing him in Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Billy Dancel

Jurassic Park and Ladyhawke FTW!

Jay McIntyre

I've always found the Coens about as warm and humanistic as a Geico commercial (although O Brother, Where Art Thou proved they should have stuck to musicals), and most of their movies consist of pointing and snickering at Colorful Bits of Americana. In Lebowski's case, while professional bowlers are also good for a snicker or two, the Bros wanted to take a good colorful snigger at stoners...Which is why sober people don't really find it all that funny, insufferably "quirky' and overbearingly overstylized, and stoners, who don't know when they're being made fun of if somebody says the magic words, dood, have put it on a holy pedestal and never watched any OTHER Coen movie.

Eric Janssen

My list for Ashleigh Crocodile Dundee Jumpin Jack Flash Willow Dawn of the dead Overboard Rounders

Brett Delbridge

Now for July, Independence Day and Great Outdoors would be good ones.

Jason Nunez

Then I hope you’re ready 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Ashleigh Burton

All three coming to the poll soon!

Ashleigh Burton

Imma predict that you aren’t impressed by the big Lebowski. I’ll get shit, but it’s good, and I really liked the ending and thoughtfulness but it’s overrated

melissa goff

"The Searchers" would also be great

Paul Johnson

Stripes! SO Looking forward to it, a movie I saw in the theaters when it released...

Rhinehold

A great classic movie that has an incredible cast, will make you laugh, has a great message and I know will bring you to tears "Angels With Dirty Faces".

Tom Castro

It's like jaws, the first one is an all time classic then the rest are schlock

ingibingi2000

Pulp Fiction , Stripes and Jurassic Park are good too!

Please get "To Sir With Love" in here somewhere. That's my top request

Naked Gun, Top Secret, The Three Amigos,

Matt G

Have to go with "Lady Hawk" because I the masses like their cliché movies, and I like watching new things. (Although, I would prefer "Silver Hawk" starring Michelle Yeoh, but that is me.

William Wall

Jeff Goldblum was good in the first Jurassic movie, until he turned into Brainy Smurf in the other movies ("Papa Smurf SAID this would happen if you played around with dinosaurs...")

Eric Janssen

JUST Jurassic Park, though, the decade-iconic classic--Lost World:JP2 is one of the legendary worst sequels of the 90's, and JP3 helped invent the concept of the mediocre "Apology sequel". Jurassic World, maybe, for those who wish the park could have had one good day, but JW: Fallen Kingdom managed to outdo JP2's equivalent goofiness.

Eric Janssen

Interesting. I get bored by movies incredibly easily, but Ladyhawke has never bored me. Showed it to my girl when she was 8 or 9 (she’s 15 now), wasn’t sure what she’d think. That nutcase doesn’t like The Karate Kid. I know, I’m thinking of disowning her for that one. But she loved Ladyhawke and has put it on to watch herself a few times since then.

Heather Qualy

Ha! Just realised I said “unique” and “typical 80s”. 😝 I meant unique storyline. The music and look of it is the typical 80s part.

Heather Qualy

oh btw, wich version of Stripes?? I think I have the director's cut... wich is a good version too, unlike some others like "it's a mad mad mad world"... just in case I'll look for the theatrical version also...

Moni Castaneda

Ladyhawke, Ladyhawke, Ladyhawke, Ladyhawke. I get it, Jurassic Park is going to win, and it’s a worthy movie, but why are more people NOT voting for Ladyhawke? The other movies are good for their genre, but there are a lot of movies similar to them, Ladyhawke is unique, and so typically 80s. Bonus if Ashleigh falls in love with Navarre and then wants to watch Blade Runner!

Heather Qualy

I know you already said you liked it, so that’s promising. But your reaction to Pulp Fiction will possibly define how I see you forever forward. Sounds promising tho! And I’m just a stat. Signed, Devons hubbens

ChickensAreRacist

The Guard, some day 🙏🙏🙏

Kind of a No Brainer, but don’t sleep on Lebowski

Joseph Didiano

We wan za money Lebowski!

Cyrusso

June is my birth month. I choose Jurassic Park, because it's so much fun watching you watch action movies! FUN!

Jill Peterson

Someone gave Ash Unboxing-copies of Singin' in the Rain, Mary Poppins, Willy Wonka, Little Shop, and I tuned in late, so I don't recall WHAT-all else. But I say the first three must be used, after the ritual initiation of Wizard of Oz, of course. And seeing a clean-slate reactor, with no cultural baggage, react to Xanadu for the first time would vindicate an entire generation of its persecuted fans. Oh, and I paid a $5 Superchat to tell her why her old musical tastes needed to see The King & I (the 50’s live-action version, I needn’t point out), but sadly, that got lost in the excitement. :(

Eric Janssen

I think you need to consider adding some musicals to your viewing. Here are some poll recommendations . Grease Little Shop of Horrors Hello Dolly Phantom of the Paradise Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory The Muppet Movie The Muppets take Manhattan Xanadu No Fiddler on the Roof or Les Miserables they are boring as hell.

Crimson Possum

Duuude. I'm going to Can-cun in November!! Never been. Have fun!

Moni Castaneda

What's not fair is that all of these should be seen.

Youseph Tanha

None of these titles really grab me...but picked JP and Ladyhawke...hopefully JP will give you a favorable introduction to Jeff Goldblum which will lead you to "The Fly" and his 1st major role the 1978 version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"...as for "Ladyhawke" hopefully it will do the same for Rutger Hauer( "Nighthawks", "Blade Runner")

Paul Johnson

I wanted to vote for all 4 but went with Tomatoes because it's such a great all around movie.

I'm throwing down again for Fried Green Tomatoes. She would love it - a story of Southern female friendship and empowerment + Kathy Bates in a saran wrap dress. Glorious.

Midge

Without saying anything else about THE GREAT ESCAPE, you really think Ashleigh is ready for another nearly three hour movie with a giant, ensemble cast, most of whom she has never herd of?

T.J. Gengler

Ladyhawke won't win but I hope you do react to it, and Willow, someday. I'll also throw in the nightmare fuel for kids but enjoyable that is Return to Oz.

JayWantsACat

My first time voting since I joined the Patreon last week. This is hard!!! But honestly. Jurassic park. Though all the other are tied for 2nd place for me!

Steven A Martinez

I was worried you'd forgotten about The Dude, but he's still there, waiting for his chance. There's just no way he's going to compete against the blockbusters like Jurassic Park.

Amstrad

Great movie choices, although I haven’t seen LadyHawk.

Michael Waldrep

Jurassic park all the way!!!!!!!!! Then The Big Lebowski, but be sure to have a White Russian while watching..... NUFF SAID....HE HE HE!!!!!!!!! Ok ,Ok..Vodka and Milk!!!!!CHEERS!!!!!!

WEEZER MANN

All these movies are good. Between Memorial Day and D-Day (June 6) I would love to see you react to a WW2 movie. The Great Escape is considered by many to be one of the best. The Shawshank Redemption was heavily influenced by the Great Escape. This one you should watch with Hubbins.

Bill Bevins

Wow, somebody else suggesting Captain Blood! Cool.

Kenton Kruger

I would be good with a reaction to any of these movies. But Jurassic Park is a MUST see!

Mark Sylvester

No - I haven't! Just wanted to squeeze in a few new ones to see where they would land!

Ashleigh Burton

OH DAMN and you gonna be partying in CABO!

Ashleigh Burton

Wow, Ladyhawke. I haven't thought about that movie in many years.

Hylaea

It’s happening it’s finally happening! Jurassic Park will be a fun one to watch especially if it uploads on my birthday June 11th. 🙌🏼

Gio Vidrio

Have you given up on Casablanca? It's still my favorite movie. It was made more than 20 years before I was born and I'm not young. I've seen it many times.

Wesley Eskildsen

OMG - Ladyhawke - now that's one I adore! But also adore JP and Fried Green Tomatoes.

Rebecca Monk

I would put Shane on your list. Great list though!

I'm putting together a little list I call "He Could Get It." Here's what I've got so far for leading men Ash hasn't seen yet. Cary Grant -- The Philadelphia Story (screwball comedy) Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, James Stewart. -- An Affair to Remember (romance) Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr. Gregory Peck -- Roman Holiday (romcom) Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn. -- The Guns of Navarone (WWII adventure) Gregory Peck, David Niven, and many others. Errol Flynn -- The Adventures of Robin Hood (costume drama/comedy) Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland. -- Captain Blood (pirate adventure) Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland. Gary Cooper -- Meet John Doe (comedy, drama) Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck, directed by Frank Capra (It's a Wonderful Life). -- High Noon (western) Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly. Tyrone Power -- The Mark of Zorro (costume drama, comedy, adventure) Tyrone Power, Linda Darnell -- Witness for the Prosecution (courtroom drama) Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich David Niven -- The Dawn Patrol (WWI adventure) David Niven, Errol Flynn -- The Pink Panther (crime, comedy) David Niven, Peter Sellers. The original. Robert Taylor -- Magnificent Obsession (romance) Robert Taylor, Irene Dunne -- Quo Vadis (costume drama, romance) Robert Taylor, Deborah Kerr Antonio Banderas -- The Mask of Zorro (costume drama, action) Antonio Banderas, Catherine Zeta-Jones. -- Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (comedy, drama) Antonio Banderas, Carmen Maura. In Spanish w/subtitles. Apparently the dubbed version is awful.

Elliot Nesterman

It's a tough spot to be in - because while I don't want to react to what everyone else has reacted too - I really do want to see the classics and I feel like this is definitely one of them. Like how can I NOT watch it eventually, ya know?

Ashleigh Burton

I'll stay on the polls for a bit!

Ashleigh Burton

Jurassic Park is a good movie however, I feel Fried Green Tomatoes has a story line that will be better for content and your reaction.

Aubrey Lineberry

I'm excited to see what wins!

Ashleigh Burton

I've seen it requested for dang long..

Ashleigh Burton

😂😂😂

Ashleigh Burton

Ladyhawk won't win, but it is such a unique film. I have loved it since I was a child.

Rose

Please do League of their own, my cousin Vinnie, and Three Amigos. You will love them

Mark Finley

OHH I'm interested now!

Ashleigh Burton

WOO HOO!

Ashleigh Burton

YALL THOUGHT I WAS IGNORING YOUR SUGGESTIONS!

Ashleigh Burton

I agree, It's my favorite by far. As quotable as it is, it's a very dry sense of humor, I think she would like it, but there's a chance she wouldn't.

Mark Finley

It def is!

Ashleigh Burton

When I get back!

Ashleigh Burton

....you're lucky I respect corny humor

Ashleigh Burton

HERE WE GOOO

Ashleigh Burton

IM EXCITED!

Ashleigh Burton

I KNOW RIGHT

Ashleigh Burton

and I'm already a big fan!

Ashleigh Burton

Fried green tomatoes feels like a movie you’d really like.

Robert Gruhn

While I love "The Big Lebowski" and "Raising Arizona" my favorite Coen Brothers movie is "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou".

Bill Staley

Fried Green Tomatoes. I know I'm weird, loved the book of JP, hated the movie.

Louise Brooks

Ladyhawk is one I've seen so many times. Score was not great but the love story was an early favourite of mine. Fried Green Tomatoes is fabulous and Jurassic Park got me reading Michael Crichton. Never understood the fascination with Labowski.

I was tempted by Ladyhawk, but it's really a boring movie that only pays off at the very end.

Thane Greyhaven

Oh, wow. Ladyhawke! It's been so long since I saw that.

iamrman82

Same here.

Tony Williams

Screw durasic pork 😋

Danika Silva

I suspect Jurassic Park will win and I'm very excited for that reaction, but Fried Green Tomatoes is getting my vote every time. 😁🍅

Lynnetta

Woooo! Jurassic park. The first movie that made me scream out loud in a theater. It was an experience

Elisa H.

Going to really bug the "but everybody else reacted to it!" crowd, but Jurassic Park should have this one in a cakewalk, it's far too iconic and a must-see film.

Kenton Kruger

Ladyhawk. There's an evil bishop, A young Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer as cursed lovers. Hooray for Tremors!

old _Navy_twidget

Jurassic park series & Lady Hawke gets my vote. Keeping my fingers crossed. 👍😁💗🤞🇬🇧

Mandy Sherratt

Would love Pee-wee's Big Adventure, however that will likely have to wait until a slot at the top tier opens up.

Kenton Kruger

again 4 good ones. cant really go wrong with any.

Bleedingreen

And Rutger Hauer (rip)! Navarre is my favorite knight character in a film pretty much ever.

Rue

I think she would like that

Red Dwarf

Ladyhawke oh my gosh

Red Dwarf

Fried Green Tomatoes or Jurrasic Park!

Jennifer

I know it’s not gonna win but atleast Lebowski is on your radar

Brandon Ross

I predict you are going to Love Jurassic Park!

M four Movies

I'm so psyched about TREMORS! It just my flavor of funny. What's the current thinking on FISH CALLED WANDA? Is it still on the schedule?

T.J. Gengler

Super stoked for Fried Green Tomatoes. Have fun in Cancun! Will you be doing a live stream before you leave or after you get back?

Ullatec

Ladyhawke is a very early introduction to a very young Matthew Broderick and Michelle Pfeiffer

Danika Silva

I’m going with Jurassic Park, it’s Dino-mite….I’ll just see myself out now. 😂😜

Ken “Chaos” McKee

Big Lebowski FTW!

Graham Martin

You haven’t seen Jurassic Park?!!!! What in holy hell?!!

Jerrod Acree

omg Jurassic park? oh man that's gonna be fun

EF3078

Oh my she will love Kathy Bates forever after watching Fried Green Tomatoes
