Halloween 3 is amazing! It's definitely a mood, but an awesome one.

Hylaea

I meant exorcist 3 not Halloween 3 ugh I hated Halloween 3. It’s awful.

Dawn

Nah, there's only the "Producer's Cut" of part 6... :/

Manuel Johnen

There's a director's cut of Halloween 3? Even so, I'd rather save it till late October, like maybe six more days to Halloween...

Eric Janssen

Halloween 3 is a better scary movie. Not the directors cut but the theatrical version. Sorry I mean exorcist 3 .. not Halloween 3 ugh nooooooo not that

Dawn

"Exorcist III" is a great movie. I actually slightly prefer it to the first one...

Manuel Johnen

Love it!! ❣️❣️❣️✨✨💥 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥

JoStal Dance

You already know Night vision is making a come back this year!

Ashleigh Burton

WORKING HARD!

Ashleigh Burton

I THINK YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT

Ashleigh Burton

OMG NO!

Ashleigh Burton

Ashleigh, I’m surprised no one has brought this up yet, maybe they have I dunno, but I’m gonna throw this one out there. Out of all worthy sequels from Hallobeans, I’d highly suggest The Exorcist III: Legion. Not only is it a worthy sequel, but it captures the fear and essence of the original. It has Brad Dourif from Cuckoo’s Nest in it. Also, do not watch the Director’s Cut. Cinema Rules watched that version and gave it a lower rating than they’d expected. Other than that, it’s worth the watch, and in night vision. ✌🏼

Gio Vidrio

You know what I haven't seen suggested? Dangerous Liaisons. Not for the madness month, but a good movie she might like.

The Lion in Winter was written by James Goldman (brother of William Goldman, who wrote The Princess Bride). How he came to write it is interesting. Goldman started out wanting to write a play about Robin Hood, but as he researched the historic period he became increasingly interested in the political drama surrounding the Angevins: Henry II, Eleanor, and their children, Richard I, Geoffrey, and John. So he switched his focus from legend to history. He would eventually get back to Robin Hood, which led to his writing 1976's "Robin and Marian."

Elliot Nesterman

For an entirely enjoyable costume drama try 1968's "The Lion in Winter." Peter O'Toole plays Henry II and Katherine Hepburn plays Eleanor of Aquitaine. A more delightful historical/political/family comedy/drama has never been made. Hepburn won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Eleanor. Oscar titbit: That year the Best Actress was shared, for only the second time in Oscar history: Hepburn for The Lion in Winter and Barbra Streisand for Funny Girl.

Elliot Nesterman

Until a couple of years ago, I've always been hesitant to check out Ingmar Bergman and especially "The Seventh Seal"... you know, that dark, heavy Swedish movie where someone plays chess with death, which is pretty much all I or most other people know about it... You know what, the chess game is only a very small part of that movie... and actually, it's fairly light hearted and funny. I'd almost call it a comedy...

Manuel Johnen

I'll settle for "The Name of the Rose".

Eric Janssen

You all know that she has to watch "Last Action Hero" now...

Manuel Johnen

Not for reaction, but if you like opera, and the movie's low-tech 18th-cty. production of The Magic Flute, Ingmar Bergman’s 1975 movie version is downright adorable: :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yS9-9ic9A4 (Yes, cute Bergman. Don’t worry, it’s in color and nobody plays chess.)

Eric Janssen

I’ve never seen this movie. That laugh kind of repelled me. Mozart is my favorite classical composer but I just can’t. I watched the abbreviated reaction, not the full length one. To be honest, Misery is the first movie since Ghost that really warrants the attention. The actor playing Mozart is much more entertaining in Animal House. The Dream Team is a good madness themed movie to follow up Annie’s folksy insanity on Friday. Good review and bless you for sitting through this movie...I couldn’t. Lol

Edward Landis

SO excited to see you watch Misery. PLEASE post the full-length reaction video!!!

Terrel Geer

For future consideration. Movies that I think you would like from my favorite decade the 80's. 1. The Karate Kid. 2. Fright Night (1985) 3. Sixteen Candles 4. The Sure Thing 5. Pretty in Pink 6. An American Werewolf in London 7. Better Off Dead 8. Weird Science 9. Real Genius 10. Fast Times at Ridgemont High 11. Can't But Me Love 12. Risky Business

Todd Bradford

Smokey & the Bandit and No Country for Old Men! :p I never watched this movie. The previews didn't appeal to me when it was released, but I LOVED the Falco American edit and Canadian version music singles.

Great film....it won Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director(Milos Forman who also won the same award for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest")and Best Actor for F. Murray Abraham as Salieri...Tom Hulce was also nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Mozart

Paul Johnson

Misery is an epic movie!!!!!! very suspense and intense. I think you'll like that one.

stephen phillips

BTW, this is the same director as Cuckoo’s Nest.

Kate Cassidy

This was just a very important Film (capital F) from the 80s. It won All the Awards and Salieri has become a buzzword for jealous mediocrity.

Kate Cassidy

Roll that beautiful Beans footage! Ha! I can say it, and I will.

Mo Vetta

I love this movie too. It actually got me interested in classical music at a young age. There I was, 13 years old and listening to Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, and Paganini.

C. A.

Thank you for that extra beans at the end. Cannot wait for you to endure the excitement, horror, & suspense of what Misery has to offer. Kathy Bates is unforgettable.

Gio Vidrio

Vincent Schiavelli was the dude in Ghost and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Edward Olson

Side note - Did you recognize Cynthia Nixon? The young maid that is sent to spy.... #SexInTheCity #Ratched

Rebecca Monk

I would say 2 out of 5. It has it moments, but not a great choice, but as you said "Opinions are like..." Can't wait for Friday's movie. I love that one, but the book was so much better (as it usually is) IMHO. And of course, who doesn't love to see Ms. Beans at the end!

MrBamaRed

I love this movie. Yes, it's heighted reality, and not the way things really went down - but that's intentional. Most films based on real people are actually fictionalized to one degree or another. And I'm good with that. Take the time to read about them later if you want facts. I'm here for the CREATIVE DRAMA...lol. Besides - remember the old saying - Movies are all about "willing suspension of disbelief."

Rebecca Monk

Beans sheds as much as my cat does. I agree with you on Amadeus. For me it was worth seeing once.

Mark Dunham

"Good" is such an infinitely debatable point as to be nearly meaningless. I'll admit that several of Ashleigh's choices didn't generate much interest from me. So what? Our host is driving the bus and we're just along for the ride. I'm OK with that.

T.J. Gengler

This movie wasn't historically accurate. Mozart and Salieri were actually friends. They even collaborated together a couple of times. Salieri didn't plan Mozarts death. Catarina was actually Salieri's mistress. Mozart didn't dictate his final piece of music to Salieri, it was a protege.

Bill Bevins

I must say, im not impressed by the last few choices of movies... there are so many good ones out there that you havent seen, but none show up on your lists.

ROG

As you've said Its a movie. Not that good of one but not bad just so so.
