Quick question
Added 2024-05-06 19:23:01 +0000 UTCHi, everyone! Would you be interested in submitting your animation requests for a chance to have me animate them?
I'm planning to do something but I'd like to get your feedback first. I want to create a new tier and give members of that tier the chance to submit an animation request per month. Then all of you (not just members of the new tier) would vote for your favorite request and I'd animate the most voted one. This proccess would repeat every month: get a new batch of requests, throw them into a poll and animate the winner. The price of the new tier would be 10€ ($11.50) and it'd also include all the benefits from previous tiers.
How does that sound? Would you be interested in joining the new tier? Please choose the option that best applies to you in the poll below and/or leave a comment if you want to share your opinion or have any questions.

So the main reason I wanna take my time to say why this is a bad idea is that a common de-incentivizing viewpoint is the "I won't win anyway" viewpoint. When it comes to things like raffles and such, what happens is, oftentimes there's more people who don't win than those who do, leading to a "dang Im paying for the new tier but i'm not getting an animation" and it's a net loss. For artists and single renders it's fine and easy, but for animations? You'll burn yourself out easy going for more than maybe two, and the more you do, the more will sub to the tier, only to be let down. Basicially, it would just add "losing" to the things that supporting you can offer, and that's why I warn against it. You do you though! Im in the 3.50 tier for the commission discounts and i've made 0 comms so what the fuck do i know haha! Best of luck!
