Extending the time until bases are retired.
Added 2024-04-04 17:31:51 +0000 UTCI’m going to keep bases up for 4 months after posting instead of the 2-3 previously stated.
Some people have voiced how they weren’t happy at the rate bases were being retired but I need to remind you guys that access 5-6 bases at a time for €10 means each base is €2.50 or less and I put hours of work into these. It has to be worth it for me and I also need to protect my work from content rippers. Retired bases are available in my kofi store.
So as a compromise with 4 months of bases available at any one time it means there will be 8 bases accessible. Starting from this month when April’s bases come out, Jan until April will remain up for new members. There will still only be 2 new bases a month. 1 for cappurrrccino and 1 extra for my high tiers. This is not increasing.
Also please be mindful that if you cancel your sub, leaving nasty comments in reviews isn’t nice. I’m only human and I work hard to deliver. I slave over coms all month and work almost every day, even my weekends. I deliver the content advertised in my tiers when you join, each month. I am feeling extremely discouraged with patreon and it’s hard to keep creating for it honestly when people either abuse the content or expect too much of me. Just remember, I’m doing my best, I’m letting you guys profit on my lines and I’m doing it at the best value I can.

I'm so sorry this happened to you, but i would suggest raising your tier prices! That way you could still keep the bases available for longer, but not be underselling them. also, you shouldn't ever feel pressured to machine gun out content. Anyone who makes you feel that way doesn't actually care about your humanity, your well being. And honestly they don't deserve your content. Please do take care of yourself, and take breaks! 2024-04-04 19:31:34 +0000 UTCThe thing is it’s that I do not want my work devalued by lowering the price or including more for the cost of a membership. Or else a base will be worth pennies and there is more chance of my work being leaked. I could sell 2 custom ychs instead for the price of what I make on patreon and it would still take the same amount of time the bases do. The value of my work matters and yes the revenue of patreon is still why I do it even if I’m constantly disrespected and my lines get abused. I like to let people have some of my art for “cheaper” and also like helping people have a way to make money. I appreciate you sticking around Vika and I’m happy you enjoy the bases, but it really isn’t that simple.

2024-04-04 18:32:31 +0000 UTCI love your work and that you do bases for us. But according to the numbers you make a minimum of 500 per month with patreon. This is my whole rent. I would say that is great. Even if the bases are "cheap" after a few month all in all you have a solid community behind you. So do not stress too much. You are doing great. An I personally would not disappear xD
