These guys were a MAJOR love for me back in the 2014 era.
My excitement for PJO has been getting rekindled lately due to a glorious mix of nostalgia, the upcoming Disney+ series, and WILL AND NICO ARE GETTING THEIR OWN BOOK SOOOOON T__T. My teenage self is weeping on the floor.
I included some art from 2014 (8 YEARS AGO???) to compare how much my art has changed. It's honestly so crazy to look at o-o;;
I love how it looks like they aged since I last drew them too. It's kinda fitting though, since I love imagining that characters from books I read when I was a kid grow up as I do T__T

Anyways for this pic I wanted to bring some more Greek/Roman inspiration than I usually would with their designs - Specifically Will, who I think would rock tight ringlet curls. I got a lot of inspiration from Greek statues, specifically Apollo ones since Will is his son.
Lowkey have a crush on Will now though
But o well - ONLY THE BEST FOR NICO DI ANGELO
