Roadmap 2025 Updated

Hi! I had some time to update the public development plan for next year. I moved some tasks from my plan to the public board so you can understand what to expect from the project.

 I reorganized the plan a bit because it seemed to me that there was a lot of unnecessary stuff in it, leaving all the main tasks. You can also read about the changes in the "Read Me" on the board.

I'll tell you a little about the course that I will follow in the coming year:

Character capabilities - very soon I will introduce a new system of abilities, which should give different game experience for each character, after that I will work on expanding the basic capabilities that will be available to everyone.

 AI is a sore subject for me, but still. As practice has shown, if you make ordinary NPCs not just dummies who can perform a couple of actions - it gives a completely different experience. I plan to work on new classes of opponents, which will slightly diversify the gaming experience, and they will also become an introductory part of some new mechanics.

 Maps and game modes - I removed the main story campaign from the plan for some reason, it will be replaced by a system of contracts and random events.

Contracts are essentially generated tasks with a certain context (you can find out more on the roadmap), and random events will contribute to the diversity of the gameplay (oh, those questions on the map that distract from the work...).

I also want to finish work on the main map in sandbox mode, so that I can move on to a new one (Wild Forest).

Also, each task will have a difficulty, it includes the number of targets, the number of enemies on the map, etc., which can complicate your task. Accordingly, the reward will vary depending on the chosen difficulty...

In essence, missions like "Delivery" will be aimed at this. You will simply be given a target and you must find it, free it and deliver it to the specified location by any means available. Perhaps I did not describe the mission summary correctly...

In the contracts I've haven't seen a rescue quest, so the question is, there will be some quests where you need to save an NPC?
