Character Design! (WIP)

This is Vinny! If you're familiar with my character, Warren, Vinny is his unofficial foster-dad!

Vinny is the owner of a dying restaurant named Vinny's Bar & Grill. Threatened with foreclosure, the stressed bulldog hardly scrapes by month after month. But despite his stress, Vinny is overall a kindhearted dude, and does what he can to help the community.

One night after closing hours, Vinny decides to go outside and take a breather. That's when he discovers an abandoned, young Warren taking shelter against the building. Vinny brings the kid inside, dusts him off, and gives him a warm meal under the mutual agreement that Warren needs to leave the next morning.

WELL AS FATE WOULD HAVE IT, robbers break in to Vinny's restaurant that night. Warren intervened, saving Vinny's life by chasing off the dangerous crooks. Following the attack, Vinny thinks - hOLY SHIT - maybe it won't be so bAD to have a little badass around to protect him. So he offers Warren a job at the restaurant in exchange for shelter and food.

ANYWAYS, ONTO THE ACTUAL ART.

I tried a new form of coloring here where I just layed down all the colors with an airbrush and then chiseled the outline afterwards, and ITS HONESTLY SUPER LIBERATING AND FUN.

I'll probably throw some shading and lighting onto him before posting anywhere publicly, MAYBE. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this WIP!
