Daniel [Defiant] / Daniel [Evans] Sketch

The next chapter is still in process, I hope to release it soon, but in the meantime, I thought I’d publish for you one of the sketches I did in the little free time I have between work! :D

This one is more recent, done because some people asked me what Daniel would look like in his 'civilian disguise,' the last one he created for the Baxter Foundation science fair, and which he formally uses to live his life as a 'human.'

I'm not very good at drawing faces, much less giving them unique and easily distinguishable features, and since Daniel's face doesn't change much, as that was his intention—for it to be similar to his real face—it was somewhat complicated to manage to make it the same yet 'not the same.'

For example, his eyebrows are slightly thicker, and his eyes are less blue and more gray, his eyelashes are shorter, and if I could draw noses well, then his nose would also be slightly larger, perhaps a little crooked (like in his previous life, where his septum had been broken in his youth and consequently his nose was somewhat twisted... I haven't decided this yet, but it is an idea)

Anyway, besides that, the most notable change is in his hair, which is longer. Of course, that’s not due to the mask he uses, but rather his body itself. Using the core, Daniel simply increases its length by a few centimeters and then cuts it using V-element scissors or with the help of Carol and her laser vision (well, now with cosmic energy he can probably do it alone and more easily). So the hairstyle you see is what he would have if he wore his hair longer naturally.

(I also said, when I described his appearance in this 'definitive disguise' in chapter 59, that his hair was more brown than black, something I think serves to distance him a bit more from his real appearance, but which, on second thought, doesn't make much sense that it could be done with the mask, alien technology or not. I still don't have a good excuse to fix that, apart from ignoring it and leaving it as a small plot hole, or simply rewriting that part of chapter 59. Well, it's not like it affects things too much, since with cosmic energy a change in his hair color is now something Daniel can do with some practice, so let's ignore this part and pretend I didn't make a mistake, hahaha.)

In any case, I think that's all I have to say regarding his civilian appearance. As always, I accept suggestions.

On the other hand, there is also Daniel in his real appearance with his hero suit. The suit is still a work in progress. I thought about maybe removing the belt and the knee parts, but I'm not very clear on it. I would be happy to know what you think about it.
