John (SuperSoldier) New Cover Sketch!
Added 2025-03-26 16:00:40 +0000 UTCHey guys! After posting the previous sketch of the new cover for Still Defiant, I remembered that I had also been working on something for Super Soldier. When I searched for it in my files and reviewed it, I realized it was in a much rougher state than the other one. So, I took a few minutes of my break time at work this morning to refine some details and make it publishable.
I mainly worked on the face since I’m still trying to find the best look for John. I think it's coming out better now. The hairstyle is still quite similar to what I’ve done for him so far. I considered giving him much longer hair, but when I did, it reminded me of some versions of Logan, so I decided to stick with short hair.
Lastly, I made some minor changes to the suit, but nothing too noticeable without color.
I also plan to add his new stellar fire aura, but that will probably be seen when the piece is finished, I think.
Finally, the thing I liked the least is the shield. I feel like the perspective didn’t quite match the pose. I wanted to change it, but I ran out of time, so it will have to be later. What do you guys think? Maybe I’m overthinking it? Does it look fine? Or can you also tell that something seems off?
In case anyone is wondering about the next chapter of Super Soldier, I’m working on it. I hope to finish it today, but I don’t know if it will be published today. As I mentioned in the note of one of the previous chapters, there will be a new NSFW scene. I’ve been having some difficulties with that, but things are progressing. Hopefully, I’ll be able to finish, edit, translate, and publish it soon.
