NEWS About My Stories! (Before the End of the Year)

Well, the end of the year is approaching, and with it, I’ve started several things that have kept me quite busy and stressed. (A few days ago, my brother told me he spotted a gray hair on the back of my head—right where I can’t see if it’s real or not, haha! I’m not old enough to have gray hairs, damn it! (If you’re wondering, I turned 23 in August). Despite that, I feel pretty motivated, which is why I’ve gone back to my first original story, Unparalleled Rival, to work on it.

However, after reviewing all the notes I’ve been making to continue it and rereading what I wrote and published, I couldn’t help but notice the mistakes (and inconsistencies that would surely come back to bite me in the ass later).

In the end, after discussing it with my pillow and some close friends, I decided that since what I’ve written so far isn’t too extensive, I can fix it (and translate it better). So, although there won’t be a new chapter before the end of the year, I am determined to move forward with the story and make the necessary changes to be able to continue this project consistently throughout 2025.

I just wanted to make this announcement for those who have been asking about the story. I’ve said I won’t abandon it, and I definitely won’t. I simply want to give it all the love it deserves, as the rookie writer that I am. After all, it’s my first original story, and I don’t want it to turn out poorly.

As for my other stories, the schedule hasn’t changed:

• I’ll keep publishing Still Defiant as usual.

• Supersoldier is nearing the end of the war arc and will take a brief pause afterward.

• You’re My Special will likely get more frequent updates when that happens.

Almost Invincible will remain on hiatus for now. I’ve been reading and rereading it many times over these months, and every time I do, I can’t help but want to rewrite a lot of things completely—something I’ll probably avoid. But until I fully decide what to do, I guess it’ll stay in limbo. (With the arrival of Invincible Season 3, I hope inspiration hits me so hard it shatters the block I have with this story—we’ll see, I guess.)

With all that said, I hope everyone had a decent 2024. The first part of the year sucked for me, but things improved from there, and I can certainly welcome 2025 with a lot of joy.
