Cassandra & Raven sketches (Supersoldier)
Added 2024-10-21 00:59:15 +0000 UTCI didn’t want to go without posting anything, so here are two of the sketches I’ve been working on from time to time. I usually rest on Sundays from my formal job, but there was an unexpected situation, and well, I ended up having to work, which sucks, but there’s nothing I can do. At least I get paid double for the day.
That said, I’m still working on the chapters of the stories. Supersoldier has fallen a bit behind, so I need to get at least two or three chapters out before the month ends to catch up. While thinking about the upcoming plots, I thought I’d share these small sketches that I did during my work breaks.
The designs are still preliminary, for Cassandra. As you know, I’m basing her completely on her version from the MCU, and although I won’t do a copy-paste of the actress who plays her, I thought of using certain traits like the eye and hair color (which can’t be seen here since they’re just line art, but I hope they stand out when I have a colored illustration).
As for the hairstyle, I’m still undecided, but I think short or semi-long hair would suit her well. If you have any suggestions, I’d appreciate them (especially if there are reference images). The outfit is still preliminary too. Designing things is tricky because it never seems like I’m satisfied, haha.
For Raven, it’s even more complicated since she’s literally a shapeshifter. We all know her base form, but for her favorite form (camouflage) in this story, I was thinking of something like this. Tell me what you think and leave your suggestions. I’ll take everything into account for the final versions and the full illustrations.

Huh? In my head i think cassandra would have a braided hair since she come from rich family and charles might be able to convince her to keep her long for social event (despite she wanting to cut it to rebel against her parent assumed traditional preference)

2024-10-21 21:54:19 +0000 UTCI like to imagine Cassandra with shoulder length hair (think Jean Grey). Since she is Charles opposite in so many ways it just makes sense to me that she would have and keep longer hair. Also really like Raven's look since it feels like a female version of John's suit with long sleeves. Which considering how much she idolizes him makes perfect sense.

2024-10-21 02:11:06 +0000 UTCNo, she made an amalgamation of several women for her costume, (taking various characteristics from them, with Agent Carter being the main base since her body is that of a trained agent which gives Raven a muscle memory suitable for combat) You're confusing this with her "backstory"
