I tried to reply the dark atmosphere that some episodes had back in the day and also give them a underwater look by changing their hue a little. I feel like the result looks pretty good. I know it looks like an experimental post, and it kinda is I suppose, so, it's up to you, what you think? 🤔 That's it for today, I'll go back to work with the following sets. The finishing touches on the characters and the colors are very good. I think maybe it lacks a bit more aquatic effects to strengthen the impression that they're underwater. Adding more ripples and movement to their hair, some seaweed at the base, and more air bubbles in the movements of the tentacles would enhance that feeling. I don’t remember those darker episodes very well, but I believe it’s a challenge to give movement to the hair since, in the anime, everyone seems to have stiff, gel-filled hair. But being an artist is about challenging ourselves, right? Good work.
