I'm currently going through an inexplicable improvement spurt, having shifted my focus to gesture and story over form. I'm also trying to do lineart with a similar technique to my sketches, that is to say with longer, confident (S and C curves and straights) strokes drawn from the shoulder, not the wrist. It's tricky but imo it has improved my figure drawings and linework in a short time, but I feel a bit like a dumb baby drawing with a crayon all over again so I'll need some time to refine this new mindset and apply it to comic work.
Y'all tell me tho, do some of these feel like they have more life than usual? The first 2 pages are kinda old, but everything after is much more recent.
