I have been doing more stuff with the pixel brush on a vector layer, treating it as proper lineart and it looks much better. Also, I found out that depending on program you're viewing pixel brush pics on, the anti-aliasing can make it look crunchy

Fantastic art, you do you, never change for others but I personally don’t like the pixel line-art. It feels too contrasting to your drawing/coloring style and I’m constantly looking for what feels off about the picture instead of appreciating all the detail put into it.
