ZZZ Shading Studies

when someone commissioned me to draw some ZZZ characters I ended up looking at the wiki for the game. Turns out, the way they do their promo art is EXTREMELY appealing to me. While I have negative interest in the game (gachas are not for me), I know what kind of art I like and this was it. So I wanted to do a bunch of studies to see how I could apply it to my own work.
Its helped me to wrap my head back around rendering. Going to try to implement this in my own work now and hopefully get something appealing out of it.
