Funny thing, after classic Doctor Who went off the air in 1989 fans were able to license some characters to make legal fan films. No Doctor or Daleks, but Kate was introduced alongside her father (the fan favorite Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart), Sarah Jane and a classic series monster. Different actress, same name.

Brigadier was one of the main characters of the 3rd doctor's run, and he was one of the best classic Who characters in general. Also the only person who threw a punch at the Master and actually won the fight.

2025-05-27 20:22:55 +0000 UTCanother chibnall episode also - people love to hate but i enjoy his era and his episodes prior always gave me a fun vibe even if they sacrificed a bit of sense at times. this episode in particular introduced kate lethbridge stewart who is the daughter of the frequently mentioned brigadier of unit. she’ll be around a lot :)
