here is my edited and full opacity reaction to doctor who season 6 episode 9 "night terrors"
this was a really fun adventure to go on, it felt like a well-needed break from the craziness of the past few episodes.

2025-04-15 14:05:21 +0000 UTCThis was supposed to be in the first half of the series, but they thought there were too many creepy episodes in the front end, so they switched its place in the running order with the pirate episode. But there are a few notable hangovers, Amy's dress was chosen to hint at a maternity, and to make it hard to tell if she was in early pregnancy or not to keep that mystery going (we no doubt would have had the Doctor doing the TARDIS yes/no scan on her again instead of the creepy kids singing at the end), and when the Doctor meets back up with them at the end he says its good to see them again "in the Flesh" which was meant to be a hint that he had already worked out Amy was a Flesh Avatar. Its a shame the move lost that last one in particular, as it would have been a nice subtle hint before going into the Flesh two parter.
