Man, I really don't care about Cliff at all. Maybe he gets better, but he's kinda annoying here.

2026-02-13 00:59:16 +0000 UTCCliff is absolutely talented for his age and probably even a significant number of adult mages. However he is very full of himself. In my opinion it kind of contrasts how humble Rudy is? This is something that most people notice but it's awesome of how humble Rudy really is. Can you even name like single time that Rudy has been arrogant in this show? Saying like I'm better than you to someone. Bragging about silent casting? It's like no... few instances where he realizes it's special etc. That's not even close to arrogance. Rudy is always complimenting others, wishing the best for others. And brushes off compliments. Rudy is extremely humble and I love that about his character. And yes Cliff while annoying it's hard to get upset at him. I kind of like how Cliff deep down almost seems like he wants what is best for others too. Giving up on Eris at the end. Cliff is arrogant and full of himself. It's not without some merit. But hes not shown to be a bad person. Far from it actually. At least from what we can tell. I always like to make it clear that all my thoughts and opinions are based on the current moment. I love this show!

"I am going away, I dont think we are well matched right now" Is to Eris some perfect message that of COURSE the genius perfect Rudy will understand... shes just going away for a bit...lol.. Eris..

2026-02-12 02:22:22 +0000 UTCsome random thing : the counter lady on almost every guild (according to rudy), have some humongus booba, so he think that they surely hired with that in mind (and in the anime they are doing it as well haha) I would add something, in the japanese voice, the knight actually tell her name, she is Therese (she said something like "so re nara kono therese ga" basically saying "this therese will guide you")

2026-02-11 19:41:37 +0000 UTCI find it surprising that the anime skipped the part about Teresa (the girl who protected the child and was helped by Eris), since she's Zenith's sister. By the way, that's not a spoiler; it's not hidden information in the light novel. Rudeus meets Teresa before sailing to the mainland, when they have a problem at customs and Teresa recognizes Rudeus and Eris and helps them. In the light novel, it's part of the main story, not a separate one, but the anime skipped it and is unlikely to return to it.

2026-02-11 19:18:44 +0000 UTCOh yeah, believe me the ending of the whole story is going to be so inspiring and real, it is going to make you depressed because you are going to ask yourself "what have I done with my life until now" :D And as you might have guessed, this episode is something that was skipped during the arc for the flow, but they put it in at the end of the season as a flashback of sorts. Technically, in the novel this little happening secured Rudeus and Ruijerd the second passage by sea. The female knight gives Eris her name and says to mention it if they need help. They actually get extorted AGAIN once they reach the port, but then they name drop her and she vouches for them. But they removed that from the anime probably because it would interrupt the flow too much and it wouldn't change the outcome. And yeh, it is only implied here but in the novel it is confirmed that the assassins actually were Cliff's teachers. That's why he immediately knew he couldn't win and wanted to stay put/flee.' "He's yapping too much" made me crack up xD
