One cool thing about how much Roxy trained after leaving Rudy's house, she can now shorten chants, like the healing chant she used on the kid, can't go full chantless, but it's a skill extremely few people in the world have.

Only the village elder knows how to speak the Demon God language and that’s mainly for communicating with outsiders for trade and stuff. Roxy’s parents learned the Demon God language specifically so they could communicate with her. Think of it like parents learning sign language so they can talk to their own deaf child. Do you really think the rest of the village would go through all that effort and learn an entirely different language just to communicate with one kid?
