Least disliked character? I'm pretty certain you aren't particularly fond of Sengoku. Overall from my experience a lot of people dislike her. I'm myself wasn't the most fond of her until later arcs. As for my preference, might be a bit of a hottake, but among the friends of Araragi (and himself), my least favourite is probably Hanekawa. I still like her, but I don't know... When I was watching one of the seasons years ago, an arc focusing on her actually made me stop with the anime for a solid 1.5 year. It's probably my least favourite arc from Monogatari for that reason.

I think especially at this point she's one of the least developed or interesting characters, and her cutesy thing can be kind of grating. Also re: Kaiki's emphasis on names, I think that's less of a Kaiki thing and more just a general Japanese cultural thing? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but when telling people your name in Japanese, you might also say which characters they're written with (as someone said previously, the pronunciation might be the same, but the meaning behind each character might be different). I know its one of the things Nisioisin, the author, puts a lot of value into (even his name is a palindrome).
