However, Araragi (ιΏθ―γ ζ¨) has the same Kanji at the end of his name, it's literally setting up a sort of "opposites" relationship when he says "if I'm a dead tree, you're a sapling."

This "season", compared to the previous two, suddenly increases in difficulty due to how abstract it can get and how easy it is to get distracted. Btw, after each opening, thereβs a wall of text that appears for a few seconds with a fragment of Araragi's monologueβtaken directly from the light novel. Itβs not strictly necessary to read them, but if you ever feel like knowing a little more, you can revisit the previous episodes and read them as part of the discussion. Hopefully, itβs translated in the source youβre watching, though.
