2024-11-15 11:45:38 +0000 UTC20:40 One Punch Man was released in 2015 and was made by Madhouse. The same company that made Frieren. Just so that you know, the studio changed to J.C. Staff for Season 2 and there was a noticeable decline in quality. One Punch Man is very much a parody of battle shonen. That's actually why I like it. Expect lots of over the top expressions and characters. If you like those kinds of expressions, you might like Grand Blue Dreaming anime. However, it is very much a comedy centered around college aged kids. Yes, the main character's name is Saitama.
